If you really consider there is a creator:The Creator certain have a purpose to create something.Impossible The Creator create something not just for play,right/Human create something to some purpose. That's mean,of The Creator certain have a purpose to create us,human. The creator not "doesn't want 2 give us any help in this process".But The creator have a system for this.Of course,The creator of course have a ruler if we want to still live in the earth(because of course the creator also create earth for us),I think He will very angry if us don't do what He want(the purpose He created us.That's way God give us a holy book, for human, human do what he wants. The creator can't appears to us,because"something unlit can't live on something that limit"right?
The creator give a helps to us,he create earth for our lives. The creator give us brain to prove our problem, many others. That's some helps from The creator to us,right.Without that don't hope that we will live until now.

Hey, good question. Mine is usually from a different viewpoint, like, as far as all that we understand goes, you need a creator to make the created...so who created God? Right? but whatever, I'm christian myself, and it may have not been his "policy" ; but it happened anyway. I mean, how else are we supposed to know? He could contact each one of us seperately, and I believe in a way he does; but as a contingency to salvation, we must have faith and believe. We get all the information we possibly can, and then we make up our own minds. Jesus came with claims that no other "sane" person has ever come with. Jesus was actually here on earth, religious texts (christian and non-christian) and secular texts confirm it, but if he was indeed a crazy person; he should not be so reveered by the secular community as a great teacher, because as far as they should be concerned he is a complete nut-job. Or he was the greatest lier that ever lived. I choose to believe what he said. This of course is an incredibly over-simplified version of my spiritual walk but there you go.

The one that has a has a name is not the ONE. The ONE has no name. We are made of the same thing that the ONE is made from. How do I know? I astral. I did this the first time when I very young. I can't look beyond the Veil but I've been to some of the planes that we go to when we shake off this body.
The ONE will not give help in the way most think of as help. We need to learn so we can grow. Sometimes learning is hard or painful. There is a very easy way to know the ONE that is to shake off the garbage that holds you back and free your mind to the love around you.

the creation of the universe is explained in the smallest detail, altough there are few things left to explain, but we know what happened from the first billionth part of a second till now. So if there was a creator he didn't intervenue in the creation of the world, which makes believing in a creator apsurde

Well, we don't. But before simply saying a "sphagetti monster" doesn't exist (an irritating and childish reference to a god) first you must ask: What is the likelyhood that the universe was created, on the flip side, what is the likelyhood that it wasn't created? What is the probability of either one? You can't deduce these with reasoning, therefore, it is up to every individual to either believe or not believe.

A deist believes in a creator of the universe, but that the creator has nothing to do with our lives on earth.

good question and it shows that you want to know the creator who created us on earth why are we here is this an experiment or is this creator trying to see what the outcomes of this excise will bring.
unfortunatly my only reference is my faith and because you are an athiest you might not be intrested
But you asked the question so here is my answer
I think we are here on earth like the beautiful starts in heaven we were made for the creators glory almost like he is showing off with us
We were made in the creators image and we have the same talents as He and that is to be creative and create....(Work,Art,Build,Clime Mountians)
And one of the greatest things he gave us is to love
That is why we are here it is to love
From a Christian to an Atheist this is what I think

If you're referring to the christian god... then it isn't.
Even if you were to assume the Universe was consciously created, the christian god still makes so little sense that the probability of it existing is negligable.
But then everyone should know that the beginning was all fire and ice, and at the meeting point inbetween was made Ymir the giant and Audhumbla the cow...
