It isn't illegal but I would wonder why a mature 36 yr old would be attracted to an 18 y.o. One it's either purely physical or the 36 y.o. is not mature at all but quite immature.

Since she's legal it 's o.k. to take her on a date but she's too young for me-(to be a "steady girlfriend.)-I'd never marry a woman who's about 7+ yrs younger or older than me. (I'm 36 myself, & for the past 10-15 yrs, all my girlfriends have been about 10 yrs older than me)
