Why are men so slow when communicating?

Dont you find that women tend to communicate better and are quicker. Men, for some reason tend to be slow if they manage to communicate at all. What do you think?

Men communicate what they need to briefly and to the point. We don't waste a lot of air.

If we don't communicate it is because we have learned that some things left unsaid are less likely to put HER in a bad mood.

Finally, about halfway through HER long winded communication, something shiny catches our eye and we lose focus.

Ouch. I don't think men are always slower with communicating, we just communicate differently than women, and about different things. Sometimes, I just like to listen instead of talking.

Men have less to say and do not have a need to communicate in the same way women do.

That said, when all women do are drop hints and not ask us exactly the question they want answered, what do you expect us to do? Become mind readers?

I think women try to force men to communicate like women, and then blame the man when he tries to communicate like a man.

Men like to consider their position in and the circumstance before transmitting information. They like to have create an idea of the scenario that will be discussed, and to prepare points for the next round of questions. I can't speak for women.

It really depends on the man. My man communicates well but he's sort of ...well he has a strong feminine intuition without being gay. Some women are bad communicators.

Not at all. Only thing is some may be more scared of rejection so less likely to commit and expose themselves.

I know this is a generalisation and inter gender differences are greater than intra gender differences, but where would we be without generalisations?

Men are slower at communicating than women are because men think before they speak.

And sometimes it is necessary to talk sloooowly to women so that they can understand what is being said - as many are less intelligent than males.

it would be stupid to catch a plane to new york then another plane to newcastle

men say what needs to be said and dont waste precious energy

whereas women waffle on for hours about nothing

simple since men are head of the household they attend to think more. we just dont jump to conclusion but when comes to communication talk to me for once then ill be fast.
