Is it the Satan's act ?

100% Omni God created a few in Christian families, few others in Islam families and yet another lot in families in other religions and in the religion called aetheism.

Few with a thinking capacity and few others as dumbards .

Few weak and few others strong.

Few as obedient and few others as disobedient and revelutionary.

Few with silver spoons in mouths and few others starving.

What is it that preventing people from believing that the God Omnipotent 100 %, the One and Only Creator created variety to His liking and run the system to His liking without an eyelash being blinked against, without a grass leaf hilting against, without a thought arising against the Will of All Mighty Lord ?

Is Satan 100 % Omnipotent God's servant to delude people as per the Divine Will of the Lord to accept this world as Absolute Reality and forget the God beyond ?

What do you think ?

dear bill k, here the reference is God, the Father and controller of all beings including Satan perhaps. If you want to bring Jesus to that stature fine, if you think Jesus is not, this q. is not relevent to Jesus of your interpretation but to the Father of Jesus, it becomes relevent.

How about he can't control Himself?

If he were a ruler of a country, he could do those same things, but he would probably be assasinated. It's kind of hard to question his authority or decision if he is nowhere to be seen.
Plenty have gone against his will, and gotten away with it in this life. Is Bin Laden also Omnipotent? So, God gave Satan the power - in other words, God wants us to disobey him, right?
Is this the start of a new religion, with God as Head and Satan as the devine, omnipotent servant? God likes to play, just like his servant Xerxes did. No wonder so many people want to get away from him - not because of the fear of His Omnipotency, but because of His apparent Bipolar Disorder.

Just Kidding

But really, why is it so hard for Him to show Himself? He's so powerful, that he won't show Himself because he doesn't want to, right? Well, that describes a number of Gods. Which one do you speak of?

What could be preventing people from believing the God is 100 % Omnipotent ?

I'd say that when you compare the bible (and other holy writings) to the real world, the bible comes up lacking. How credible is a god, who's divinely inspired word is wrong on so many counts?

If he's omniscient, he knows the course of future events, including his own actions. If he knows in advance his own future actions, he would not be able to alter them and choose a different course of action or else his omniscient foreknowledge would have to have been in error. To say that he knew he was going to change his mind would be just as ridiculous, as he would have known in advance exactly when he would change his mind and still followed the course that he knew that he would. So if you want an omnipotent God, you just can't have an omniscient one as well. This also tosses his free will out the window, since he is bound to what he knows he will do and has no choice in the matter.

Yes, God made the scientist and the atheist and the Christians and Jews and Muslims and Buddhists etc etc etc!!
We are like little tiny ants to Him.

He created an interesting variety, so interesting that we make movies and sit for two hours just watching movies about crime and love and life etc. We like movies with drama, passion, tragedy, violence and everything!!

God gave His little creations a thing called FREE WILL.
So therefore, YES, Maya, or Kali, or Satan is Gods agent to help all the little souls who want to forget God, to be able to. Otherwise how could they do sin without feeling guilty?

Man proposes and God disposes! Interesting point you brought up. I love it. :-D

edit: yeah and Karma is another great thing God made. (it expains the people born poor and the people born with silver spoons.)
And when God created this planet it was pretty nice but the little humans with their arrogance and pride decided they could do it better, and so they created chemicals, pesticides, global warming, war, famine etc......

Satan has been given the power by God to run this world and blind people to the truth:' ... in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God [2 Corinthians 4:4].

Satan is trying to deceive as many as possible, so they will be cast into the lake of fire, along with himself one day. He is doing a very sad but convincing job. People do not seem to understand, this world is only a temporary home for us, very, very, short in Gods time-line. This earth is in no way a perfect, blessed place, it was at one time. Jesus said he was going to prepare a place for us.(heaven) for true followers- not sinners and not "Sunday saints". Heaven will be Perfect- no sickness, suffering, disasters, fighting, wars, tears, or hate.

A belief is an opinion and often it is a conviction. A conviction is merely a rigid and infelxible opinion. Your belief, my belief, anyone's belief is the attachment to an "idea" that we have. We got the idea from somewhere. Perhaps from our family, our environment, our culture, our rebellious nature or even our imagination. Don't get deluded by the feeling that your belief is real. It's just your attachment to an idea that you have. That's why there are so many different beliefs in the world.

Let's pretend that your childhood fantasy exists.

That would mean that some incredibly awful stuff has happened on this planet in the last hundred years, and he (your God guy) has ignored it.

So, based on that, how can you say that he is 100% omnipotent and ignores genocide so often?

It could be that he doesn't care, so why worship someone who doesn't care?

Or the simplier answer, "God is a myth"!

Non-education, and factly, the forbidance of prayer in schools as well as a total abandonment from GOD by the Caesars in political circles.

Believing that Jesus is God instead of following Jesus' true teachings that ask us to worship only one God, the True God, his God. And in the bible Jesus is clearly NOT Omnipotent .

eg- he eats, he drinks, and he doesn't know the date of resurruction. He constantly states that he of his own power can do nothing but with God's help he can.
