I think they will win the division, but I'm not too sure about the playoffs. I think they will beat the Patriots in the playoffs because they are still fired up from what happened in the playoffs last year, but not sure what happen beyond that.
Like everyone else, I am concerned about the coaching changes, but I'm not completely down on Norv Turner. His last few years as a coach were hardly a good indication of his potential. I mean, he coached the Raiders and the Redskins, for Christ's sake. No one has been able to do a thing with both of those clubs in the last few years.
Like any Charger's fan I am hoping the sheer talent that this team has will overcome any of the coaching changes that has happened in the off season, but I'm entirely positive what will happen. I'm just going to watch with a hopeful eye and send out good thoughts to the team.

Being that the PARITY is the key word in describing the modern NFL, I think the Chargers could either fall apart or come close to winning the superbowl. They have the talent but what they lack now is continuity because the coaching staff is gone from the team that should have been playing divisional playoff games. If the coaches are smart they will put the game in the defense's hands and run a ball controll offense utilizing the talents of LT. Rivers is a great young QB but I don't see any big time recieving threats on this team. I see a lot of possesion type recievers and a good/great TE. So if the Chargers can stop the run and run effectively they could go deep in the playoffs. If LT goes down The Burner Turner can carry the load also.

If they do exactly what they did last year (give the ball to LT), I think they will go to the Superbowl. I say that because they have a new coach. Marty S. is simply not a good coach. Never has been. There is no excuse for them losing last year with the team they had. They had the best weapon the game today in LT, an above average QB, and pretty darn good defense. So the blame must go to him.
A new coach, same game plan, different result. Superbowl!

Don't blame the Patriots for winning the game, blame the Chargers for losing the game. Norv Turner as coach, well he was good when he was in Dallas, he had the talent to begin with. San Diego has talent from top to bottom & they should do well, but Denver looks good but San Diego should finish 2nd but I will be cheering for my Patriots. Good luck to San Diego though. Only 3 teams I can't stand--Raiders, Cowboys & Ravens

The Chargers have been a good team and had a great year last year. If they just stay healthy, maybe get a little better on defensive, their time will come. Good example is the Colts last year. They FINALLY got past the Pats and they've always been a good overall team... so the Chargers could be next!

I agree with Crash. The Broncos are going to go all the way. The chargers will probably not make the playoffs condidering they have a whole new coaching staff. Last year that offsence was so good because of Cam Cameron

I am a die-hard Eagles fan but have been a Chargers fan since that memorable playoff game where Kellen Winslow had to be helped off the field. I also think they have the coolest jersey's in football history; those powder blue ones. Berman agrees with me on that by the way.
I am ready to see them get to the next level and hope that it is this year.

They have the talent for a Superbowl. Of course they had that last year. I think if they can keep their heads in the game no team can stop them. You may see them pass the ball a little more this year, now that Rivers is a little more established. But if they play to their potential I see a shiny ring in the near future.

I think you have that backwords. The Chargers messed that game up. The Patriots just took advantage of it. Don't blame your lost on any team but the team that lost. This year they will have a good year but Norv will ruin them as he does all the teams he is the head coach of.
