Ok, so I was just in Israel for a little over a month! I came on the Taglit-Birthright trip and then stayed there longer with my brother! I LOVED Israel and cannot wait to come back!
I want to spend my whole summer there next year and possibly make aliyah there in a few years.
Another idea I had was to go to school there next year and see if I like it. But that costs a lot of money!
Does anyone know how I can find out about the school programs to study there?
And how can I make aliyah there myself, considering I am only 18 years old!
Please help!!!
Toda!

I spent my freshman year of college studying in Israel. I can tell you I had a great time and an experience that I will never forget.

I would strongly suggest that you contact your University and see if they have any foreign studies programs that will let you go to school in Israel and get credit for it.

The best universities in Israel for this are Hebrew University and Bar Ilan.

Spend next summer in Israel on a program you would like, and try to see if you can spend the school year as well.

After that you will be well enough informed if you want to make Aliyah.

The best place to start would be to contact yout local ISraeli Embassy/consulate and some universities in Israel, the best one for non-Israeli Students is Hebrew U in Jerusalem, they have a very large number of non-Israeli students. There are also a large number of foreign students at the Weizmann institute in Rehovot, but they mainly deal with Sciences, so you'f have to check whether they do a course in your subject.

You have to be Jewish and be able to prove that you are Jewish and that your parents or one grandparent is Jewish. Good Luck.
