I'm from Oak Park Michigan and where i'm from in my school girls will talk trash alot and for some reason i seen alot more girl fights than boy fights. Believe it or not I actually saw girls jump into a fight where a boy was fighting a girl and 4 or 5 girls jumped the boy. We have had a class discussion one time in health class and we were talking about should a boy hit a girl and some girls said no, and a couple said yes. I want to know what peoples opinions are with a boy hitting a girl. (I dont want to hear because boys are stronger than girls because a girl can hurt a guy to)

Really useful advice though: Here's the real reason why a gentleman always walks away...
There are two possible outcomes to any altercation, one is that you win, the other is that you do not.
* If you win at beating a woman, your peers (and others you don't even know) will torment you for having beaten a woman.
* If you fail to win at beating a woman, your peers (and others you don't even know) will torment you for having been beaten by a woman.
As you can see, this is a situation in which you can not win. A wise person (and a gentleman) knows this and therefor walks away. In this case, it would be appropriate to make a public comment about her obvious low social level (she is no lady if she wishes to engage in such behavior) -- but truly, just walk away.
If you often find yourself in the company of women who wish to engage in such uncomely behavior, you may wish to reconsider your acquaintances.

NEVER! A guy should never hit a girl that is horrible. Nobody should hit anybody can't people just get along. Now somebody hits u it still does not give you the right to hit back. Just block the oncoming hits. Violence doesn't solve anything, and to back me up with that is all time great Martin Luther King. No i am serious you hit someone the other person isn't going to say sorry the other person will just get more pissed off at you. It makes sense doesn't it? So if you hit someone you are making the situation a lot worst.

In todays day and age women has barked about being equal to men. They want it in every way. I agree, they should be equal. They should also know that hitting anyone is just plain wrong. It's wrong wrong wrong.
BUT, your your going to show up at a fight and put your cards down, don't pull the 'I'm a girl card out' when it's looking bad for you. If a woman takes a swipe at you and hits you, knock her *** into next week because she's no woman

Well if u want to get technical nobody should ever hit anybody. I know though that situations come up and people start fighting so if you start to get beat up by a girl and you truly have to defend yourself hit them only hard enough to where u can get them to stop you might not even need to do that just hold them down. I still feel that a boy should not hit a girl but i also feel that no one regardless of sex should hit anybody.

I think it's a question of proportion. Should a 400lb person sit on a 85lb person and break every bone in their face? Of course not. There is usually a size difference between males and females, but not always significantly. If it is a matter of self defense, put the little girl in her place! If it is a matter of a bigger person just beating on a smaller person they should be ashamed. Hitting a little person just to establish dominance or to express anger is terrible (which is the usual case in spousal abuse), and that's why the guys shouldn't hit girls idea stands. It's a matter of bigger ethics than gender, and for the record...I'm a girl. If I'm beating on a guy of course I deserve to get hit back!

I say if you can dish it out you have to take it also! However it will take a lot for me to slap a girl, dont even think I can. I think the boys should avoid these conflicts, and the girls parents should teach them some manners and how to behave like ladies not trash.

Violence is not a good way of dealing with anyone. But if a man is attacked by anyone, regardless of gender, he should fight back.
