That is certainly a very lame answer. There are no answers in the Bible.

Its an answer, but not a good one. People who use this answer use it as an excuse since they see it as a sacred object and don't have a mind of their own. Yet some people say it for laughs or because they would see it as entertainment for just reading no more.

Not the lamest, but definitely an honorary mention.

One should never simply say "Read the Bible." I will always be sure to name a specific passage, but will not Copy / Paste it up on Y!A. If the asker is really interested, they can look it up themselves.

Laughing...I've seen those answers, I think they're just trying to rack up points. They also don't know where in the Bible your question can be answered. Sad !

No. The lamest are when someone with a genuine curiosity in religion asks a question, and an atheist answers with "god does not exist"...or something with a similar bashing effect

Why would anyone who wants an answer to a question, go to a book they don't believe, to find the answer?
It's like a con artist saying " if you don't believe me,---just ask me".

This kind of answer is quite fitting if a troll is asking the question. Plenty of those on R&S.

If the question was about the book "War and Peace" wouldn't you refer that person to that book?

yes, but the real question should be....what answer is actually, wise?

yeah. but that's a trick. if they keep saying that, they'll eventually trick someone to picking it up. and then... they'll contract christianity.
