You know, questions like this tend to give the impression that the life of a disabled or mentally challenged person is of less value than the life of a "normal" person. I've known and loved people who were disabled and mentally challenged, and they are some of the sweetest, loving, most beautiful and giving people in the world. And, for those reasons, I count that person's life as a blessing, and God can be glorified in that person's life.

I don't think He deny's people life. I believe those who have severe mental disabilities, who cannot possibly make conscious or higher decisions, I believe they get to Heaven. I'll have to study Scripture more, but that's my belief now anyway.

I think God allows some people to survive as I guess, for lack of a better term, the betterment of society. generally, people end up nicer around the mentally challenged. their disabilities can help humble people, help promote kindness, etc. whether they know God or not, I do not know. I cannot peer into their soul. but it can make you realize how much you matter to God if He let someone, problemd and all, smile every day.

There isn't a point in it at all. People with mental disabilities are a result of genetic disorders that happen by chance and circumstance. All we can do is care for them and hope for the best.

life & death they say r in god's hands. To give birth to such a child and to rear it is his will.Maybe its his will that u know & understand why life is so precious and he wants you and others to know through you that u really r blessed with a wise mind and able body to carry out your duties independantly. He wants you to be the chosen one through whom the message can be spread. It's also a test that He has put you through to see how well you take on this responsibility that he has bestowed upon you.As for the child, he is alway's taken care of and watched over by Him.

All the trials and sufferings in this life is but a test for us, if we are gonna stick with God or turn the other way. Life on earth is but temporary, If we're gonna take up our crosses in life and keep the faith, then God will welcome us into his kingdom. Thus, our reward will be victorious in heaven.
