It depends on the person. For me it was nothing more that feeling a pulsation feeling in my body and I really couldn't move very well.
Other Officers I've seen get hit in training will yell and fall down, others just fall over like a board unable to do anything.

Some TASER devices, particularly those used by police departments, also have a "Drive Stun" capability, where the taser is held against the target without firing barbs and is intended to cause pain without incapacitating the target. TASER defines "Drive Stun" as "the process of using the EMD [here = "Electro-Muscular Disruption weapon" = the taser) as a pain compliance technique. This is done by activating the EMD and placing it against an individual’s body. This can be done without an air cartridge in place or after an air cartridge has been deployed.". [11]
A Las Vegas police document says "The Drive Stun causes significant localized pain in the area touched by the TASER but does not have a significant effect on the central nervous system. The Drive Stun does not incapacitate a subject but may assist in taking a subject into custody." [12]

I watched an officer get shot on TV.. It looks like it hurts, this guy was big and looks like he probably could have taken some pain, but he acted like he was in a lot of pain. Then he just falls down and cant really do anything for a minute or so except just lie there. It looks like a shocking experience, ha ha.

The best way to describe it would be jumping into a cold shower under under the nozzle. Just think of that initial shock of you muscles tighening and not being able to recover until the Taze discharges.

Every muscle in your body becomes rigid at once. This instant 'flex' can be painful if maintained for a period of time. Once the charge is stopped your muscles relax but it feels like they are vibrating. That feeling can last and is uncomfortable for some.

Well I haven't read any firsthand reports on the matter, but from the way the targets fall instantly to the ground and writhe like lost souls in heck I'd say it feels real special.

It is NOT fun. However the discomfort is very short-lived. (In particular when compared to being shot with a traditional firearm.)
