The simple answer to this is that most Christians believe in the theory of "Predetermination", meaning everything that happens, was destined to happen. Therefore, you have free choice and free will, but it was already known what you would choose, and therefore the results of your choices. (Whether or not you go to "hell") It's a grey area as to whether or not knowing the outcome beforehand restricts your freedom to choose, but most who believe in predetermination will just say that divine knowledge does not make the choice for you.
Now, if you take into account the numerous other religions in the world, there are many different possibilities depending on what is the actual "truth". If you are a believing and practicing Christian, then following the tenants of that faith would make the choice for you.

According to Christian Dogma, God made mankind unique in the aspect that we have free will. Now that does not mean choice without consequence. Free will means we have the power to believe or not.
Jesus was a man who was placed here upon the earth to assist people who cannot find their way to the Divine by any other means. Free will and choice makes mankind diverse in their beliefs and their actions. Those who are confused by all of the choices out there need only look as far as Jesus to find their way home. Others may choose to take a longer path, but still arrive at the same place. Think of the Bible as a roadmap... without it you may still find your way... it will just take a bit longer.

You're allowed to choose more than one thing. By the way hell doesn't exist. The bible doesn't teach of such a place of eternal torment. When the Bible speaks of hell, Sheol or Gehenna it's Hebrew/Greek word means common grave. Ecclesiastes 9 speaks of death and it says that the "dead are conscious of nothing at all."
God does not desire worship from you that is coerced or forced. He wants you to serve him out of love for him. Showing gratitude for the life he has given you and the promises of the real life in the very near future right here on earth (Psalms 37, 9-11). In order to provide that real life he will have to rid the earth of people who do not love him. Imagine you opened your home to a roommate and you provided your roommate with rules of the house. If your roommate showed no interest in following those rules and repeatedly broke them would his actions have no consequences? Think about it.
God's original purpose for the earth was paradise conditions, good health, no suffering. That is still his purpose for the earth. In order to fulfill it he will have to do away with those that cause the earth and those on it so much pain.
He has set before you life or death...you must choose and accept the consequences of your choice. He's even told you how to best serve him, what he disapproves of and what will happen if we choose to serve him or not. It can't get much clearer.

Well, it is not 66% but at Armageddon 90% of the world's population will lose their lives.
Obviously God is patient with us and does not want for any of us to suffer so he gives us time to choose, right or wrong. It's that simple, but time is almost up. It's like if you choose to rob a bank or not, which way will imprison you?--if you rob the bank, or if you don't.
Don't mock God and don't play words on the weak minds. Get it straight.
James 1: 12 - 15
Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.
2 Peter 3: 8 - 10
"However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day will come as a thief..."

Have you ever taken a multiple choice test in school? There's only one right answer, usually. Do you get upset at the teacher because only 'D' is correct?
Or are you asking why there isn't an 'All of the Above'? The answer to that is that more often than not, when there is an 'All of the Above' it is the correct answer, and makes the question not as challenging.
Does that explain it at all?

God gives us a choice because He loves us. Think of a domineering father who does not give any choices, it is not out of love but out of power. Just as with our father, there are many choices to make, but one is right and takes us in the right direction. Same with Jesus. We can choose, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Judaism, Islam, whatever religion or non-religion we want, but just like our choices with anything, there are consequences, whether we like them or not.

He gives us a choice because he wants us to choose him out of love. Yes...love. Those who do not choose him out of love are those that do not follow the teaching of Christ. There are churchgoing people who are this way. They go to Church and then do what they want...It is a hard thing and an everyday struggle but once we make our decision....daily decision... God will provide us with the will power to overcome those things of our flesh such as homosexuality and other things.

The choice is yours it seems logical to choose life.
The fact is God sustains us and knowing this most wold choose the truth.
There are eventualities to any choice you make.
Man is sustained by God if man rejects that which sustains him he rejects life.
Seeking the truth and receving revelation will help with your understanding.

Adam and Eve had a oneness relationship with God, even with the incontrovertible fact that they could no longer think of exterior of the container of high-quality. they could no longer conceive of something exterior of high-quality. the fall delivered with reference to the opportunity of guy being waiting to verify the opportunity of evil and because then he has designed it as he so needed. even with the incontrovertible fact that, evil serves purpose interior the universe in that it makes determination an extremely important element which does no longer be the case if guy purely operated interior a container of seeing purely good. God seeks dynamic relationship that can purely ensue contained in direction of the determination of high-quality over evil.

good thinking. It doesn't make sense in christianity when you're alraedy forgiven for sind, but yet u should confess and be forgiven by a man of god ( priest)???? What ! listen I'm a muslim and we believe in the following:
-you are born innocent FAIR
-you will only be punished for your sins that you have commited after puberty FAIR ( u should know right from wrong by that time )
-As long as you believe in one god ( not trinity) and live as a good muslim , than god has promised heaven
-we respect jesus as a prophet who wasn't crucified on the cross and yes we do believe in his 2 nd coming
jesus used to greet people by saying peace be with you and that is the meaning of Salam for muslims
jesus used to fast for 40 days and yes that is the month of ramadan for us
-jesus was given miracles that god granted and cured the blind etc....by god's permission
-jesus always preached one god and never claimed to be his son just a messanger ( That is the meaning of "meesiah"
in arabic
-the proper name of god in arabic is Allah
- virgin mary
- adam noah, moses etc....prophets
- islam is the 2 nd biggest religion in the world
islam says to do the following :
1)believe that there is no god but allah and that muhammad was his last messenger
2)pray
3)pay charity 2.5 percent annually of your earnings ( to the poor not the church)
4)fast in the month of ramadan
5)perform hajj ( house of god in mecca that abraham and his son built
these are the pillars of islam. If you succeed living as a good person and follow islam , then allah will have mercy on your soul and let you enter heaven god willing!
