Becoming addicted to audience instead of the joy of opening the eyes of people and showing them and telling them things they never thought of, or viewed in such a way.

The feeling of being in a position look upon so highly instead of seeing themselves as servants of God and sufferers.

There are many today who "sugar coat" things and tell people only what they want to hear. People in general are way too afraid of offending people. But sometimes the truth hurts. I would ratehr have the hard truth over a lie any day, especially when it concerns my soul or my life.

Preachers need to remember
2 Timothy 4:2-5
"Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, and encourage - with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry."

They come in two major categories. Those who are hopelessly out of touch with reality and can only quote from the bible for their own warped version of what is right. Then the ones who have dreams of grandeur and want to become televangialists with their own program on TV and make megabucks as super Jesus preacher stars. I went to a church one time where they actually had "intermission" so you could go out there and spend some cash on the coffee and snacks they had to sell. I'm surprised they havene't thought of time share sales but trust me it's coming.
I have nothing but loathing for the face of organized religion today.

In Matthew 13 There is a parable about the wheat and the tares(weeds) Both were in the garden(kingdom of God) but but one was fruit for bringing forth nutrition for the body and one was just weeds taking up much needed nutrition from the soil. Today we have an abundance of weeds in the kingdom that are offending many and leading many astray. It isn't our job to do anything about it, it is Gods job. We Christians must live the truth and do our best to show the world the truth of the Gospel (good news of salvation) until Jesu sends His angels to weed out, no pun intended, those who offend. What's wrong with preachers? Many aren't preaching for souls, but for ego, numbers, and money. IMHO

They follow their flesh and not the bible.
They twist the words of the bible around to suit them and sometimes their congregation. And then they argue and say this is how thy interpret it....Why seek to interpret....take the word for exactly what it says.
They take money to preach something that is free. It plainly states in the bible that the word of God is free. They are still thinking about the old testament and giving one tenth or something of your earnings...I mean that was what was asked of those living then. What God want from people now is for us to give him our lives so that he can make us as he wishes so that we can have a chance at heaven.....(Not everyone will go you know...as some believe..it plainly states that in the bible too)....I might not get there....But I hope to...but I am also a sinner as is everyone...Sorry so long but religious things just get me sometimes

they think if you follow god that makes you a good person, but ifyou dont then you arent one. they think that just going to church and listening to them preach makes u christian. they try to convince you to be christian even if you dont want to be and have different beliefs. i am a christian, but i dont go to church. i know people who arent christians but are better people then preachers. preachers are the same as everyone else, and they make the church think they are better and more 'religious' when the real christians are the ones out there doing good in the world instead of trying to make people come to church

Not enough of them have the courage to teach about the end times and how close we are. Not enough preach the importance of being ready for Jesus' imminent return.
