I think its just interesting, that the only people that really have an opinion on this are hetrosexual people. I worked in a floral shop and all the designers were Gay. They were all happy and comfortable with their lifestyle.
I just wonder at times with our society, why if people dont believe exactly how we do, religion, gay or straight, black or white... We decide since they are not like us they have to be wrong, and feel we have to solve what we perceive as problems, or pain they must be feeling.
I think if it caused them so much pain to be gay they would be asking the questions themselves. Whens the last time you heard a homosexual ask that question. Or take it one step forward, when is the last time you have heard a homosexual ponder if its painful for us to be straight? And who does it hurt by us being straight?
I think the only people that are hurt by somebody being homosexual, is the person that is hurt by it. Its their own problem. The person that is hurt by it has the issues, not the homosexual. Or the person that is hurt because you are not their religion or their color of skin has the issues, not the people that dont believe the same God as you or have the same color as you.
Those are the people that have issues.

Here's my opinion on the matter.
I'm gay. I tell people who I feel that I should tell. I don't go flaunting it. I don't go having sex with every guy and spreading STDs like everyone thinks is happening. Thats a ******* stereotype and you are stupid if you think that. AIDS was not started from homosexuals. It came from Africa where they have been suffering from it for YEARS! When I do have sex I use protection. Just like everyone should who is having sex, unless you are planning on having a kid. This planet is over populated. There needs to be some sort of birth control. NO ONE should use PDA (public display of affection) straight and gay people a like. I get uncomfortable when I see anyone in public kissing or holding hands. There is a time and place for everything. Who cares what people do behind closed doors.

in my opinion, no. homosexuality does not hurt anyone.
it may upset people who are closed minded. it may offend people who are closed minded. but if these people were to educate themselves further, they would realise that two people in an adult, consenting and healthy relationship can never hurt anyone, regardless of their gender.
PS, for those who haven't yet educated themselves on the origins of HIV and AIDS, and have instead allowed less educated groups teach them based on eroneous details created in order to persecute the innocent;
the HIV virus, and subsequently the AIDS virus, originated in west africa in chimpanzees. it was contracted among humans because some bush meat was not cooked properly, and an infected chimp was eaten by humans.
the virus then spread and mutated among humans.
FYI, the virus is far more likely to be contracted among hetrosexual couples.
basically what i'm saying here is, for those trying to imply that homosexuality hurts because it spreads AIDS among other STDs (and that these viruses, infections and diseases come from gay people), that is not the case. STD's are far more common in straight relationships. anything else is just propaganda.
please take this opportunity to do some research, and educate yourself with some REAL facts.

Come on Slee Bee.... "Your Friend".... OK. Thank God you have that voice recognition software and braile keys.
Hey Ray... Thanks for standing up.
Humanity is hurt. The future is damaged. But the results are not immediate. It is a sublte errosion of values that puts personal pleasure and preference over everything else.
With that said... I believe that people should be free to choose their lifestyle. It is just a shame there is a movement to force everyone agree with it.

No it doesn't.
I think part of the problem is that people confuse gay with pervs that prey on kids, they seem to forget that there are straight pervs too.
Being a pervert preying on children is a sickness and being gay is as normal as the heterosexual thing.
It's just another way to put us down.

Ya, the guy on the bottom. Girls are better off then men in that dep. Seriously, it only hurts loved ones who are closed minded. But they are creating their own hurt, not the person choosing to live a lifestyle true to themselves. I believe that homosexuals who choose to live a "straight" life are hurting themselves AND their partner. You are who you are. People always going to get hurt but you can't let that dictate your life.

It hurts the ones who struggle with it and kill themselves. It hurts the parents of those whose parents cannot handle it. It is physically hurtful for me since that is not what the anal opening was designed for and it causes tearing. Yes, people get hurt.

I think if anyone gets hurt. I would be if the homosexual had a straight lover. I think that, that person would be hurt.
Being cheated on with a person of the opposite sex is bad enough........But being cheated on with someone of the same sex, that would be worse I think.

It does when there is a push to teach it as an acceptable/normal alternative to normal man/woman relationships in our public schools. When that is going against the wishes of parents. And the current ridiculous push for gay marriage is harmful to the tradional institution of marriage, especially for future generations.

YES, I would hate to think how many innocent babies have AIDS or have died from AIDS. Not only do the innocent ones suffer but the familys watching their children and other loveones die from such an undeserved painful innocent death. So yes we have all the homosexuals to thank for this disease that they have no cure for that our innocent children and loved one die from.
