Well I'm guessing that your a smoker.
I'm not a liberal, but i do agree with this.
There are many reasons not to smoke while driving. First, being you are driving!! smoking is a distraction on the road.just like some states ban cell phone use, ban smoking. Second, alot of idiot smokers, smoke in their cars with their children inside. They are poisoning their kids, & the kids are helpless and can't do anything. And third, why should i, in the car behind a smoker, have to have the second hand smoke from your ciggy in my car, poisoning me & my kids.
If some(not all) smokers showed more respect & cared about others health, there wouldn't be the need for such a law.

Don't think so.
It's only in public places with aircond, in aircond office.
At outdoors should'nt be a problem even in your own car or at home.
The smoking men do have to give a break to those poor women who everyday goes back home smell like a cigarettes ash tray.
When they spend so much money to buy the best perfume and could'nt even smell it themselves any longer with the smokes out there.
When up close and personal even their hair smell like an ash tray.
It's time we give them a break.

I am sure it's on the liberal agenda, as they think they know whats best for everyone, but i would love to see then try and enforce it... you would have to triple the size of the police dept to enforce that ban in cars..

Link, please? I'm a liberal, and I don't give a flip whether or not you smoke in your car or your home, as long as you aren't car-pooling with me and as long as you don't smoke in a non-smoking rental car (rude!)

I don't smoke anymore, but this is getting beyond ridiculous. How is it that it's perfectly legal to buy cigarettes, but it's illegal to use them? That doesn't make sense to me.

yeah...i think after smoking they will go for drinking alcohol...because it better to drink at home because you can't kill anyone driving home...then they will go for food, because they and their "experts" should decide our diet for us because we aren't smart enough to make our own choices for us...liberals just want a nanny state to control us...it makes me sick...and i am sure our founding fathers are turning in their graves because of them...they didn't create a new country in order to be slaves to a over bearing government...they believed in individualism...
