What did we do on the farms in Oaklahoma in the 1930's.
I mow my own lawn -- OH what work !!! MY back !!! --

I think we will survive without them. We will manage. Or has WHITEY goten so fat and lazy that he can't get off of the couch.

Is that really what people think about illegals. That they are a gift from god doing all of your work. If that were true he would have sent an illegal to mow your lawn for you for and help you use spell check on illigals. And even in the 1930s you still didn't mow your own lawns you have African Americans doing it for you half the time.

I'm curious as to who exactly you people are. Illegals don't do all of the work and there are a lot of legals who work as well. Back in the 30's in Oklahoma you probably didn't do much on the farm since it was a dust bowl then.
I'm not sure that Whitey is the problem just a culture of people who don't want to do the manual labor jobs at low rates of pay and I think you will find every race in that group.

Because its easier to have a scapegoat for a so called problem to distract us from other issues. Plus they do the jobs that others dont really want to do. Because many americans feels it is beneath them to work fields picking fruit for 4dollars an hr. Plus if you actually look at the numbers illegals put more money into the country then they take out. So the money they take out is pebble in the lake of financial wealth they produce

I think it's been well summarized, Illegals do a lot of the work that Americans think they are way beneath doing like pickingi fruits or washing bathrooms. There are families out there that would rather rot alive than clean there own houses, so guess what? they hire an immigrant woman to clean the house.

As to whoever put up there that Oklahoma citizens couldn't get jobs bc of the illegals, I am pretty sure half of you have Irish or Italian last names but oh no " you are way too American now"...well guess what? you were part of the "criminal" gene pool you so boastfully call Latin Americans now.

I believe the farms in Oaklahoma were worked by slaves until that was not allowed any longer & then with cheap labour garnered from local prisons.

I read somewhere that slaughterhouses are almost entirely staffed by immigrants....care to do a day or two in a slaughterhouse? It's pretty nasty work. It's loud, stinky & soul destroying.

I think if we send the illegals back, there would be plenty of legal immigrants that would be glad to be here doing these jobs. Also, I have never seen anyone turn down a job because it is just too hard. Whatever and I am sick of that lie.

first off let's not get racist ideas. there are logical answer for these types of questions. whether they are God's actual intent for this to happen who really knows the truth? When people say this it seems to infer that they are thankful for illegals working in usa. we meaning 'us citizens' would be doing the work and/or someone born legally in the usa would be that needs the money. but who is more desperate? who has more options for better or different work? there are lots of different ethnicities i believe that do 'all our work' and i don't think it is 100%, maybe most depending on the type of 'work'. do you imply 'dirty work' by this? gardening/physical outdoor work? Different ethnic groups i believe may tend to do more of one type of work then the other because that's the reality of evolution. neway i think this makes sence to some point..

Because they are. Difficulties in getting migrant labor have already ruined one crop in Washington State, and others are at risk. With unemployment at the lowest level in history, there are simply not enough people to harvest crops without using foreign nationals to do it.
