Okay, so right now I'm studying in Animal Heath Technology. I am going to finish my program and probably work as a vet tech, but My main goal is to apply in veterinary medicine. Lately, I've been having second thoughts. My dream is still focused on saving animals, but wildlife has gotten a big interest in me. I was thinking of working as a Wildlife Rehabilitator or maybe even in Zootheraphy. Are they even in demand somewhere? Then again, my family doctor always said they'd see me with kids or as a nurse, so I was thinking of pediatricians. I don't know where I have my mind at anymore. I really want to save animals, but then again, I'm wondering if I'm not better off saving them by helping out at Shelters and giving them a new home?

You have to figure out what your true passion is....animals or children. Both are quite admirable. You could become a vet specializing in wildlife and volunteer at an orphanage or daycare or you could become a pediatrician and volunteer at an animal shelter or refuge. Find your first true passion and excel at that and then volunteer at the other.

You do realize that vets and pediatricians have many , many , many more years of college .
Are you ready for that ?
Look at the big picture , can you afford 6 to 8 more years of college ?
But only you know what will work for your personality . . .
Follow your heart .

maybe you should volunteer at the zoo, pet shelter or a nearby park. if you spend some time at each of these sites, maybe you will get a feel for what it's like and it will help you make your decision.
