I'm shooting my first wedding in a month. What are the best CDs to put the images on for the bride and groom?

I take wedding photographs all the time and I always use -R for both DVD and CD. Also use a well known make. Depending on the camera you're using and how many pictures you take, you may find the files are too big to fit on a CD. I put the jpegs on a DVD and an auto run slideshow on a CD.

This works fine for upto 500 jpegs taken in Raw on a Canon 5D and then converted to jpeg after post processing in Photoshop.

I'd say, buy the very, very best - if you are giving up the CD that's really cool, but most photographers keep the CD, just print out the good prints and let everyone in the wedding party and all who attended check out the proofs and order them. if you give them the CD, they won't have to buy any prints from you, unless, of course, that's your gift to them.

good luck

I don't recommend CD-RW's if you are saving the files as JPG's. JPG's compress each time they are opened and saved. Any CD though should do. I have seen many wedding photographers burn them to DVD's though. The only problem with that is if your client doesn't have a DVD drive on their computer, they may not be able to view them. Hope this helps.

im not sure i understand the question.. what brand r what kind????? i would say any brand is fine... if you get a double layer/ double density disk it usually is "stronger" and can hold more images.. but they are very hard to find (at least around here).... If you can get the ones that can be escribed so they will be blank on top and if you have am enscriber on your cd burner you could put a special label on it to look more professional
