It depends greatly on who you ask:
"Christians" by definition believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God.
Jews by and large believe in God but not in the deity of Christ.

I suppose. it's a free country, right ? I guess you have an obligation to believe in both Jesus and God if you're christian, though ... i am catholic myself. I believe in jesus christ but i must admit i have doubted whether God really exists . ... everything is your opinion, your choice, your belief.

I am an Athiest but I will try to answer the question in the point of view of a religious person. In my opinion, you do not have to "worship" Jesus in order to believe in God. You do not have be Christian to believe in God. However, believing in God means believing that each religion is correct (this cannot be possible but lets pertend), that is that Jesus, Mohamed, Guru Nanak, Ganesh and so fourth are all "messengers" of God and there is only ONE GOD but showed him/herself in many forms. So yes, you can totally believe in God while not being Christian.

Yes. These are the Righteous Gentile Noahides. These are the non-Jews who are so beloved of God that it's written that they will help the Messiah, when he comes (and it wasn't Jesus) build the 3rd Temple in Jerusalem. They are the ones who will worship God side by side, equally with the Jews at that time.
A good website explaining the Noahide movement, which is what Jews have been teaching for non-Jews since the beginning, is:
http://www.noahide.org
Some excellent books to read, you can get them from your library - if your library doesn't have them, request that they do an interlibrary loan and get them from another library so you can read them:
"The Rainbow Covenant: Torah and the Seven Universal Laws" by Michael Ellias Dallen
"The Path of the Righteous Gentile: An Introduction to the Seven Laws of the Children of Noah"
by Chaim Clorfene and Yaakov Rogalsky
"Seven Colors of the Rainbow"
by Rabbi Yirmeyahu Bindman
"The Seven Laws of Noah"
by Aaron Lichtenstein
"Finding the God of Noah: The Spiritual Journey of a Baptist Minister from Christianity to the Laws of Noah"
by J. David Davis

There's only one way to the Father and that is through Christ. Jesus said it himself. As far as believing in God and not Jesus wouldn't do any good in the end. It's basically believing in a false God.

Get ready for this............."James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." If you believe in God that's okay but know this, devils also believe and fear and tremble. If you don't believe in Jesus as God, then you're in the wrong faith.
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
To God be the Glory! Forever and ever! Amen!

Millions of Jews do just that. They do not accept Jesus Christ as the Messiah.

Depends on "which" God. There are MANY Gods, including the devil. Only ONE "Lord of Creation" in heaven whom the Pharaohs for over 3500 years AND Jesus called the "Father."

If you are believing God in the view of Bible, God the father cannot be seperated from God the Son ie. Jesus Christ. Bible says,
1Jo 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: but he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
1Jo 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
So it is upto you to believe. Father will not bear anyone who does not believe in His Son, because, he loved you more than His only begotten son and He was ready to sacrifice Him for us.

There are many other religions in the world who believe in god and not Jesus. Judaism, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Islam, etc.
So go ahead and believe what you want- it's all about personal happiness and fulfillment. You don't need anyone's permission to believe whatever makes you feel comfortable with your place in the universe.
