You are persistant, I'll give you that.
Police officers get paid a reasonable wage. A top scale Police Constable earns around £35K (before tax) = $70K
I wish it was more though

In comparison to non commissioned Officers of members of the Armed Forces, the Police are very well paid.
As stated, a junior Police Officer is reputed to receive a salary of 19K, a serving Soldier well trained receives far less and yet many face enormous danger every day, many away from their families for months at a time. We need a good Police force and they need to be rewarded correctly for their work and responsibility, but it should be on an equal basis with the Armed Forces.

Easily, they are on an excellent index related pay scale and could afford to spend several weeks a year abroad.
Of course there wives might have a different idea of how they should spend their time and money.

Not sure of their salary but the flight isn't cheap as I've made it several times so put away some in your piggy bank to help him get back home maybe' GL

well, it depends on what they do in the police, and so their pay differs. also depends on where they work. But if they move up quite quickly, then yeah, they get a good amount.

depending on wich force but as a rookie in scotland they usually start around 19 grand a year

I think some of them are overpaid because they are useless. The rest deserve their wage because they work hard, and do their best to serve their community.
