we have a Florida State Lic. for rescue but dont have the funds to actualy do any rescues we did a couple of charity dinners but havent collected nearly anough. they are predicting Dean to be a catagory 4 or higher when it gets into the Guld of Mexico and we would like to act if there is land fall in Florida

Check out government grants and write for one. They do not have to be paid back, they are sitting there waiting to be asked for. I think it is a little too late for Dean, but as a former Floridian (South Florida), if the hurricane should hit, most people become generous and are willing to help.
