Politely, I mean. You don't share the same beliefs, but if you claim the same label, "Non-Jehovah's Witness Christians" is a bit long, if you want to talk about "them" in conversation.

By mainstream I mean churches that express the Apostles & Nicene Creeds in doctrine or in principle.

Christendom, the term used by JWs, means the Christian body or the community of all Christians. this term comes from Corpus Christianum.

A Latin term:
Corpus Christianum is a term that came into being about the time of Emperor Constantine to be a uniting term about 325 A.D.

Attention Hot - A JW that applies the word "Christian" to non JWs is in an APOSTATE mind.

JWs do not consider anyone that is non JW a Christian. These non JWs may claim to be Christian but are under the influence of Satan the Devil and the demons.

Christendom is the term and is mis-applied.

English readers may think of Christendom as Christ and His KingDOM

In historical terms Christendom has and often means the nations that are considered to be populated by people following some form of "Judeo-Christian" belief system.

Members of Christendom, of which we are no longer a part of.
We have obeyed the Biblical command to "get out of her" found in the book of Revelation.

Um, Christians, Christendom, Un believers, Humans, um.... neighbors, relatives, Bob, if that is his name, etc. How do Baptists, Catholics, etc refer to non believers of their faiths??

This reminds me of my friend Tammy. She is, um, rather short. For a while allot of people came up to me and actually asked me, What do you call her. I usually simply responded, Tammy.

Jehovah's Witnesses use the term "Christendom" to describe all non-Witness Christians and non-Witness Christian institutions.

We call them simply "non-believers." They don't believe what we believe, so why call them anything else?
