I am not flaming or being blasphemous but I want a sincere answer...

If I told you that I can fly..or I can magically lit a bush to fire...
your reaction would be that I am crazy or lying.

If I told you that I can see the future and I remember my forelife..
you would think that I am a bluff..

And if I walked right to you and told you that I am Jesus in human disguise and I have finally come to judge you....you would probably curse away on me ask God to forgive
such an intolerant human being like me.....

You would think I am full of nonsense...

So why would you Christians not take a look at what the Bible is all about....nonsense that you would never beilieve of in this modern era.

You believe in Jesus' second coming...then why would your first reaction of me claiming to be Jesus offend you?
Should you not be happy?

Does this REALLY mean you believe in Jesus and that book?

Think about it and tell me what you feel.

No verse for Christ's sake.

Very interesting way of looking at it. Sorry, though, it is a straw man.

If you told me you could see the future, I would ask you to prove it. Now, if you were always found to be correct than I would come to the point where I believed you. The Bible has many prophesies, some have already come to pass while others have yet to be fulfilled. Due to the accuracy and longevity of the prophesies that have already been fulfilled, I can confidently conclude that the likelihood of the fulfillment of the rest of the prophecies is pretty good.

If you walked up to me and said that you were Jesus, I would not scoff or curse but I WOULD pray that God would forgive you and turn your heart from such deception. This is due to my knowledge of what is to come in the days leading up to the end times when there will be many who claim to be Christ. Once again, the Bible prophecy is fulfilled.

If you said that you could fly or light a bush on fire, I might think you are nuts but I would take it with a grain of salt because I know that all things are possible through God and His Son Jesus Christ.

I believe you....but the trick here is I'm not Christian. Perhaps someone could witness you? The good news is that more and more people are performing such miracles every day.

I know what you mean: I went through an experience once where I realized I am my best friend, I am my mother, my brother, I am my teacher and so and so on. There is nothing wrong with it. What I always tell people is that the most destructive word in the English language is SEPERATION. Main-steam christians won't begin to grasp this concept for perhaps another two dozen lifetimes.

However, when you say that you are Jesus Christ...I think it would be accurate to say to that Jesus Christ is a part of you. Once Jesus truly gave up his identity for God, he become one with Him...which means Jesus become one with everyone of us. What Jesus did, we can do. It is a simple matter of calling Him, in the spirit of protection/guidance.

It is entirely feasible for people to fly, levitate, set a burning bush on fire and even resurrect from the dead. True Eastern Mystics do it all the time. Tell me...how did you do it? I believe it essential that one use the flame of the pentacost.

- The part I love the most is, Christians are so hesistant about this whole thing, that if Jesus really came back and displayed his spiritual powers, He would be driven right out of town.

But whatever...Christians are taught to disbelieve in the supernatural abilities within us all. Will they ever be convinced otherwise?

My sincere answer: I'm not flaming either, in fact I find this whole thing humorous. You are correct. Most would have this reaction to your antics. Please take these answers as funny.

If you told me you could fly or magically light a bush aflame, I would ask you what page you were on in the Guiness Book of World Records.

If you told me you could see the future, I would punch you in the face to see if you knew it was coming.

If you told me you were Jesus come to judge me, would you call me by name? I would wonder why I hadn't heard on CNN about the two witnesses who could breath devouring fire, and who were eaten by a strange creature from the Abyss. Then I would look around to see what had become of the 140,000 who are to follow the Lamb, for that is who you would be.

I would not curse you, for I know that one day I shall be judged as I have judged others, and to condemn someone for being intolerant would be to condemn myself as well.

Your point is well spoken. But I wouldn't recommend really doing all those things you described above. It'd hardly do for your reputation.

But how can we respond about Christ's second coming without any verses? Read the end of Revelation to see what His second coming will really be like and you'll understand why we wouldn't believe you if you said that you were Jesus. The prophets in the Bible prophesied events that would occur within their lifetimes and then those events happened. This gave them credibility to prophesy about events that would occur long after they lived. Moses put his rod down and it became a cobra. He also put his hand in his armpit and it became leprous. Then he put it back in and it was healed again. When God spoke through prophets, they did signs and wonders to confirm they were speaking God's Word. And anyone who's ever really studied the Bible knows that its origin couldn't possibly be entirely human. It is far too advanced morally, scientifically, etc., to have been written by ancient men.

correction: if you were a sorcerer and visibly so and you insinuated you could fly, I might believe or I might doubt

if you said you could see the future I would not doubt the possibility; if you said you remember a reincarnation of yourself I would say you are decieved

if you said you were Christ indeed I would say you are either a proud liar, clinically insane or demonically infuenced, though I would neither curse nor cause injury

the Bible? I trust the Author.
Christ's second coming is not as a reincarnation, or any human form for that matter according to the Bible; I trust the Author, I trust His description.

Yeah the book helped me learn about Christ but before the book I was down at the bottom of the barrel in my life with no place to go. A preacher witnessed to me and I decided to believe. I prayed the prayer and the Lord saved me. I had a lot of dudes tell me they were jesus. But when I found the real Christ I had to read the Bible to find out more. My life is the best its ever been. There aint no way for you to tell me different. wished you could find what i have found its great I'm telling you dude

I'm not sure what your point is. Christians believe the Bible...period. Why would they believe an Atheist claiming to be Jesus, that is just ridiculous. Your argument is faulty because you aren't God...you aren't even a Believer in God---why would these things you are saying disprove anything in the Bible? You will have to do better than this. (note: I am not Christian. This just didn't make sense even to me.)---peace.

Much of the New Testament are first hand eyewitness accounts.
And there were many witnesses.
Witnesses that were willing to die before denying what they KNEW to be the truth.
Sure, I believe. How many witnesses of something do you need to make an event believable? Especially when they all agree, and are even in accordance with prophecies that were written centuries before?

Second Coming: Your second coming would not match the Bibilical description. That is the one thing. Did you split the Eastern Sky Open and ride down on white horses? Has the Tribulation happened? Your appearence would not match that of the Bibles.
