The Sun made life possible, you can actually see it (but shouldn't stare at it), and it's one powerful son of a *****. Why don't most religions fall to their knees to worship the SUN?

Ok ok ok.... enough with this "most of them do stuff." I mean come on.. I want a religion to come right out and say, "HEY, we worship the SUN and we're proud of it!"
None of this "they do but they don't stuff," and to the guy who said before monotheistic religions were around they did - what about Atenism????

worship on a sunday? what approximately Adventist? "without the solar, all life on earth could perish. And, in Christianity, without Jesus (the son/solar), all souls on earth could perish. " by employing your reasoning, each and every thing is a solar cult because of the fact we can't do something without the solar. look im gonna assist you to out right here (in simple terms have the desire to make this sparkling, i think of that is finished rubbish), the assumption is that the Catholic church is a solar cult. a million, the sunday factor 2, go searching st paul's basilica, what do you notice? obelisks, the main suitable solar worshiping monument. 3, halo is a solar disk 4, after asserting a pray what's asserted Amen, some think of they its in simple terms yet in a distinctive way of asserting Amun who's the supervisor God in Egyptian mythology. so in case your going to run with this stupid concept that Christianity is a solar cult, a minimum of use first rate factors. like relatively son=solar? without the solar? easy of the information? the place did you come back up with those, extra importantly how long did it take you to return up with those, extra desirable than your prepared to admit? EDIT h?lios huiós did no longer Christianity originate from around Israel and Jordon, no longer Greece?

Because as people became more intelligent in the sciences they realized there must be a creator for the world, universe, galaxy, etc. Therefore more and more people started worshiping the creator instead of the creation.
However, now many people are becoming stubborn and do not want to admit there is a creator (one they will have to answer to someday) and have started to convince themselves all this stuff came from nothing (the "big bang"). These people are now turning back to the creation, ex: trees, air, oceans, rivers, etc.

The moon as lovely as she is has deceived man. She is constantly whispering in his ear the dangers of skin cancer and reminds us of how the Sun as burnt us in the past.
And now the Sun tells me she would be dark and cold without him.
I just don't know what to worship these days.

I prefer to worship the one who created the Sun. For eventually the Sun will die. But the creator of the Sun has a better place. Whats it like? Think of the best day you have had here. The worst day there will be 1000 times better than that

Does it count to worship the God of the Sun, who is considered the Sun? If so, we've got Helios. -We being the Hellenistic Pagans.-

Yea but science kinda ruined it by discovering
1) There are a hell of a lot of them
2) Its just a big ball of flaming hot stuff
And besides, Copernicus discovered that WE revolve around IT and lots of higher power church people got all disenchanted because it was the center of the universe, not us and were like "Its really not that cool you know."

Because that is just too uncivilized, instead we have people that worship some crazies that wrote a book about a man with magical powers, way more believable. Derrr
