First, in America there is a social stigma against prostitutes. Why? Good question. But it's there. So for the idiots who claim "can't get a g/f", "too lazy to have a relationship", etc., you truly don't know what you're talking about here.

Second, prostitutes provide a service to those willing to pay for it. It's no different than going to a bar and buying a beer. You hand your money to a person, and you receive a commodity in return. Simple.
