I could not believe that they picked Juan Pablo Montoya of all people to talk about. I didn't mind Johnny Sauter or Mark Martin but come on!! What do you NASCAR people think? Am I the only one who was surprised by this?

I really liked the show. I think they were trying to show a cross section of drivers, old/middle/new kind of thing. It was interesting to see families, etc. Hey and did you check out Mark Martins arms. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

If this is supposed to be presented to the outside people who are looking into NASCAR, there is no hope. I lost intrest, big time, except in the Mark Martin parts. Even though I don't like him, they should've had Jeff Gordon instead of Juan pablo Montoya. I don't know what the big deal is about that guy, he was big where he came from. He's not big here. Not that I say he won't be, but for now, he's a ROOKIE.
And why Johnny Sauter? I don't have anything against him, but jeez at least show someone that people will recognize.
I was very disappointed in this show, not only because of that but the way it was presented.
This just goes to show that ABC can't do NASCAR right. ESPN is owned by ABC. And it's a shame they have it now. But that's another topic for another day.
Hopefully, HOPEFULLY next week will be better than this, but I'm not keeping my hopes up. I have better to watch.... :(

I wasn't too crazy about it. I don't really like JPM, but his wife seems sweet. Mark Martin was intelligent and insightful, and Johnny Sauter--well, maybe they aired him so he would get exposure and a bigger fan base?
Today is Carl Edwards' b-day---they should have shown him!!! I know they tape it in advance, but anytime I get to see him, I'm happy!
I hope they profile different drivers every week, but the previews for next week look like we'll be seeing the same guys again...

I actually enjoyed it I dont even like Juan Pablo Montoya...I enjoyed knowing what goes on behind the scenes and how people around the drivers feel about what happens out on the racetrack.
And for all the people who come on here and say for all of us who like NASCAR to get a life, you should take your own advice because your life only consists of you coming on here to crticize people.

Yes what was the point even...they could have picked so many better people than montoya more people would have watched if it was Dale Jr or Jeff Gordon

It was fair, not what I expected though.
Hopefully next week will be better, I was at Bristol.
I wouldnt have watched the last 30 min, if it wasnt for Mark and Johnny.
And #2 lil' turd... we need a life? We are just sharing opinions about something we enjoy. People like you with multiple profiles coming in rooms tryin to bust everybody's balls because they like something you dont.
Technically the way you act is kinda "stalker"ish, you need some human contact or something.

I was very disappointed in that show. Seems Montoya is being push to becoming the golden boy in Nascar.

It's only been on 25 minutes here in TX, but maybe they're getting the crappy driver out of the way first so they can lead up to the big dogs the next episodes!!! Or maybe they think people will see the softer side of JP and like him, who knows.

I wanted to ask this question myself.
Loved it. I have been waiting since April for it to air. I was in Batesville and met one of the filming crew in our hotel that was at Mark's dealership filming his fan appreciation days. He told me to be watching for it to air and that it would air over mulitple episodes. I believe episode three will be cover Mark's Fan appreciation and will definitely show Tony Stewart who was there and maybe also Kenny Wallace. I think that will be my favorite one.
Glad to see tonight's episode though and can't get enough listening to Mark.
And yes his arms are amazing. ;)

Very disappointed. Mainly because of JPM. I like Mark in it though, I think he did a great job. But I really hope these aren't the only guys, they better have other ones for the rest of the episodes.
