When will all the rubble be cleared up and on what day will the bridge be repaired/replaced with a new one? When will that bridge open again? Also, how does traffic look now for the rush hour commute? Where do the cars have to drive to detour?

I-35 is the main north and south freeway in Minnesota. It splits into an east and west route either side of Minneapolis. 35-W is the west route. The east route 35-E, 10 miles east, is still there. There are various Mississippi River crossings between the two routes but none are expressways so everyone gets where they're going, just slower.

clean up is still unknown
they're looking at new designs right now and it will be replaced by next fall (hopefully)
traffic is horrible downtown, but traffic has gone down from where i live (NE MPLS)
when it comes to detour's most people take a different bridge or 280, they got rid of two lights so traffic will move faster
