1 Say that you have an appointment with a flooring/roofing/carpet guy that is coming to do an installation
2 Car trouble and you need to get it fixed right away
3 Say that your baby has an appointment with a pediatrician
4 Tell them that you are going out of state to see family/friends

Your best bet is too call in sick that day, say you have a fever, (no establishment wants someone at work with a fever, fever=contagious) say you have been throwing up, and you feel achy all over. You can go to work the next day because many people have the 24 hour flu. You only have to show proff of a Doctor's app., after calling in sick after three days. (Also, act really run down, sicky all day, the day before-don't eat lunch, but go to the bathroom a lot and tell people you have the chills, and that you feel weak, everyone will say "oh, o she got the 'ole flu bug.)

Tell them that some family members from out of town are coming to visit, act like you haven't seen these people in like 2 years and that they will only be in town for 1 day, just tell them that you really need that day off so that you can spend the day with these family members from out of town.

Stop with the excuses , what are you , 13 yrs old ?

Just tell them you need the day off to take care of personal business .

No long jibber jabber about why is necessary .

anything, just dont say something stupid like.....
...out of town family will be here to see the baby
(u dont want ur bosses thinking that ur job is not important to u)
...someone died
(they may want proof)
...baby has a doctors oppointment
(they need to kno about those in advance)

but u could not lie...just twist the truth a little. like.....
.....u witnessed a small crime and u HAVE to testify in court.
they way, they wont think u did anything wrong and they will believe u!!!!

GET YOUR DR. TO SAY HE WANTS YOU TO COME IN THAT DAY .....FOR A CONSULTATION...OR
CALL HIS OFFICE AND MAKE AN APPT...AND TELL THEM YOU JUST WANT TO ASK THE DR A QUESTION.

JUST ASK SOME LAST MINUTE QUESTIONS ABOUT THE BABY,BEFORE YOU START BACK TO WORK.

HE HAS TO KEEP IT PRIVATE....

THAT IS ONE EXCUSE THEY HAVE TO OK.
