I'm not southern. Anybody else?

A lot of people who like nascar are not southern, hello, they have tracks in New Hampshire, California, Michigan, etc. etc. etc. Get a grip on reality dude.

I'm not understanding the question! You are embarrassed because your not Southern? Not all Nascar fans are from the South! I am a True Nascar Fan have been for 10 years and i live in the great state of California! I love Nascar and would never be embarrassed of it! Nascar is a great sport with great fans! Don't be embarrassed, be proud!

Im not from the south and i like Nascar I have been a nascar fan for 12 years now. I live in Iowa, and I got into Nascar when I was 3 years old.

I am not a southerner either, I actually live in Wisconsin. We have many NASCAR fans here, remember a lot of drivers come from this area. You dont have to be from the south to be a NASCAR fan. You just have to enjoy the sport and the people that are part of it.

When the rain-out coverage of a race got better ratings than the NBA game it was up against a couple of years ago, it should have been a clue that NASCAR is not a "Southern Sport" and hasn't been for quite some time.
Anyone who has a real appreciation for motorsports can see that NASCAR is the real deal. Just enjoy it. It's not like you love dog fights or child pornography or anything...right?

The only reason I like it is because I grew up around it my Dad use to own a Nascar Modified Team and they are by far the most entertaining division in Nascar

I am PROUD to be a Nascar fan, and I tell everybody I know. I am in NO way ashamed of it. And, no, I am not from the South either. I didn't know that was a requirement. I'm from California, and I don't see what difference it makes. I have Nascar everywhere in my life. My clothes, my collectibles in my house, my beach towels for the pool, the banners on my patio, the flags above my garage, my posters in the garage, bumperstickers, my blankets, pillows, etc...need I say more? Nascar is my passion. If you love it, grow some b@lls and admit it. Otherwise, go hide yourself or go tr0lling in another forum!

I LOVE NASCAR !!! I even have little double NASCAR flag earrings that I wear on Sundays ! What's more - I'm a groovin' Granny !!! Go get 'em Mark Martin !!!!!!!!! Of course, I am a Southerner - - - - but whats that got to do with it ??? Yankees can like NASCAR too - - - - - - What about the Indianapolis 500 ??????

What's to be embarrassed about? There is no rule that says you have to from the South to be a NASCAR fan - if you are afraid to admit you like NASCAR, shame on you!

Yes, by gosh I'm a southerner, it's in my genetics (No, I'm not an inbred either) .........uh my family like came from the south as well as all the rest, read up on history, it's very intertaining!!!!!!!
I'm not embarrassed to admit to liking NASCAR, I've liked it forever, and I hope my dad and granddad and greatgrandady did too.........way back when they were in NC the heart of NASCAR country.
