Gatorade contains electrolytes that water doesn't provide. Then again, gatorage has unnecessary sugar and dyes that aren't healthy. While water doesn't have any of that - and is overall a better choice in general - I find that gatorade does give an extra boost.

Drink Gatorade B4 and after the game, during drink water.
It's best to get gatorade powder packets and dilute that with water and drink that B4 During and after. But make sure it tastes more like water than gatorade or you'll get cramps.

I've heard gatorade, but water is just so natural, I just don't see how water wouldn't be the best thing for you, period...playing sports or not. Isn't the body supossedly made up of 70 or 80 % water or something crazy like that? Dont quote me on it. My vote is for water, I love it!
