i had a spiritual vision of a wolf by himself standing on a large form of rocks howling the rocks where next to a clear stream it was in a forest it was dim not dark it was foggy an misty like it had rained a few minutes ago there was a bush on the ground next to the rocks with purple flowers an green leaves the sun wasn't visible threw the trees i could hear the water leaves where floating down from trees all around me i was sitting on the ground across from the wolf but i wasn't scared i felt protected it started raining but the wolf an i stayed dry can anyone tell me what my vision meant

There are many legends and meaning of the wolf. It is the epitome of wild spirit - wild meaning 'free' not berserk. It is considered a guardian in the realm of Spirit (mist) and quite loyal (rock solid). This is a 'good medicine' vision.
Howling - is s/he calling you?
Wolf is considered the Great Balancer.
Water is symbol of Harmony - which comes only through balance.
Purple - high spiritual color
Flowers - emotions (tend to)
I can't help but sense something for you during the Moon of the Falling Leaves - Oct., or Nov. (can't remember)
If it was me, I would meditate during the Hour of the Wolf -3 to 7 a.m. and recall this vision into my mind, note heavily my 'feelings' and ask the wolf a few questions, wait to recieve answers. Be patient, answers may not come for a while, if not right away, maybe in the fall. I'd do this every morning until I understood the meaning.
Perhaps these will be helpful guide lines but one must remember, visions are for you personally and must be interpreted personally. Keep in tune with your feelings, ask your heart and go from there. Remember. s/he contacted you. Find out why.

Wolves represent the subconcious adn primal insticts of bravery and cunning. I think it was meant to tell u that primal insticts must not be devulged in (meaning this is why you made it dry and safe from the water, you didn't give into those insticts that make u devious or those that hold prejudices about u.) The Sun represents health and the conscience, it wasn't visible nbecause u were in your subconcious and your enviornment had deeeper meaning to it, also it represents truth you are not meant to be given the truth easily u must find it by nurturing or embracing the shadowy and lush enviornment.

Didn't the indians have a spiritual quest for the spirit guide? They meditated until an animal appeared to them and that was their spirit guide through life. Cool. I love wolves! Look up 'dream interpretations' as colors also mean something in a dream or vision.

The only one that can actually answer that question is you. Simply ask it to yourself and you will get the answer. And i'm going to suppose you meditate seeing as you used the word spiritual. So during your meditations you could ask yourself and simply let another vision come to you or let your inner Christ tell you. Or if you have a dream diary you could put it in their. Don't listen to any of those people saying those nasty things on here they simply don't believe and we have no right to judge them as they have no right to judge you. Anyways maybe that other girl has some sense in that someone is going to protect you from rain of destruction
