Try letting some mild powder absorb the grease in your hair. Or buy some shampoo for greasy hair. Or, just wash, wash, wash with shampoo for that type of hair or dishwashing liquid. But before taking any of these tips, ask your stylist if it's safe to do!

I STRONGLY disagree with the baby powder. Yes, it will absorb some of the baby oil, but it'll CLUMP in your hair. That will be SERIOUSLY nasty to wash out and may clog your drain.

I also disagree with the suggestions of Dawn. C'mon! Dawn supposedly takes GREASE away. I mean, bacon grease and baby oil? LOL!

No one has said use WARM WATER. I vote for your regular everyday shampoo with the warmest water you can stand. As several people have said, shampoo your hair THOROUGHLY. Rinse and repeat two or three times. Towel then blow dry it. IF it still looks oily, back to the shower. It shouldn't take THAT many tries.

wash wash wash wash wash your hair! Go to a Walgreens or Target and there will be plenty of products that can help you. If you want another way to get soft, shiny hair, try Garnier Fructis smoothing milk. It is like lotion for your hair and it works great and softening your hair and reducing frizz.
THE BEST TIP EVER:
Once a month, put mayonaisse all through your hair. Sounds gross but it makes it super soft and shiny!!! Wash it out and it will be great!

Dawn dish soap will help as a quick fix, or a clarifying shampoo could help too.... otherwise go to your local salon and ask for a clarifying treatment. People do stuff like that all the time, we are used to getting it out of the hair. If you want to soften your hair, try a conditioning treatment (usually around $12.00). Biolage makes a good one that I love.

infant oil is mineral oil with a heady scent. Mineral oil is a byproduct from the oil refinery - the place they turn crude oil into gasoline. that is inherently undesirable which you will apply this form of product. further and further businesses are merchandising that they use "no petroleum ingredients" of their products. on the molecular point, the mineral oil's molecules are too super to be absorbed into the exterior or the hair shaft. consequently they only relax upon the exterior or hair. What happens next is that the exterior or hair below actually suffocates, it can't breathe. no longer that hair resides, ideas you, yet epidermis is. So, human beings in an attempt to moisturize extra, slather on extra of those products that incorporate mineral oil. the concern is that ultimately your epidermis (or hair) will grow to be very dry, in view that is dying, flaking off. that's no longer a sturdy element! Try putting some corn starch or baby powder in it while dry. Let it sit a while like that to absorb the grease. Then try using a dish soap that is tough on grease. Don't use conditioner yet. Best of luck to you.

Buy a special dandruff shampoo, although regular shampoo works just as well. My mom says that baby powder would probably work as someone else said this. Good luck.
