and the bible says that a day is as 1000 years with God and it has been about 6000 years(or 6 days) since Adam & Eve and on the 7th day he rested and Jesus is supposed to return and set up his Kingdom of peace on Earth for 1000 years. If you look at how this is going wouldn't you agree that his return is near?

Well I cant say by fuzzy math, but the signs of the times are starting to look that way. The church is becoming more apostate everyday( Laodicea ) and few are nothing more than social organizations with free coffee and donuts.
Most if they preach at all, preach Man centered religion, prosperity, your best life now and other self help nonsense.
Of course it allows them to not preach about hell sin or repentance.
You get 10 minute sermenets for Christianets.
Or the gospel according to Shrek or Spiderman!
Then the humunist are trying to erase God from our culture so they can serve there own God, themselves or their father the Devil

The bible does not say a day is a 1000 years, but is as a thousand years, which is not quite the same. It simply means a day is as a thousand years is to man meaning a long time, and a thousand years as one day. Which means a thousand years to the Lord is a short time. But that is concerning the Lord and his promises, not the creation. God created the earth, the heavens, etc. in six days, and he rested on the seventh, and hallowed it. This is clear because it says repeatedly and the evening and the morning were another day.

I think that God's time is a long time by our measurements. I sometimes wait what seems to be a long time, for a prayer to be answered... No where in the Bible does it say that 1000 years or 6 days is the same. Regardless, I will see the end of times in my lifetime. I am sure of that.

Marcus, may I tell you, young sir, that, whilst I'm relatively new here, I already stand amazed that so many seemingly intelligent adults speak in the same breathe of both biblical myths and science--you know, small things like computers, rockets to the moon, heart transplants. To them, science and technology are of no consequence, often even suspect. But expressions of fear and illiteracy and ignorance among desert nomads thousands of years ago were, and are, 'true.' You are speaking, I presume, of the 'return' of a meandering Jewish cultist who was executed by the oppressive Romans two thousand years ago. Sir, what is left of his remains, if anything at all, is not likely to be more than a few bones, fragments of his skull, and possibly, a rag or two. Is this man returning to our little blue rock from beyond the clouds? No. You possess a human brain, yes? Give it all it deserves. Think.

It grow to be no longer actually 6 days.."an afternoon is nearly one thousand years to god" meaning that factor means no longer something. techniques loose meaning by using translation. Like if i reported "i visit must you the way in 6 classes".. that could desire to intend, i visit teach you the way in 6 classification classes in intense college, or in 6 menstral cycles, or in 6 classes of time. ok, if it have been genuine and grow to be in accordance with a creative and prescient of a few style, i could think of that the formation of the universe could be a massively complicated adventure, a undying relatively suggestions-blowing adventure. think of you experienced this and had to tell human beings approximately it. a definite point of "dumbing down" could could desire to take place to translate it to human minds. people become responsive to time so a time function grow to be inserted into the creation adventure.

The Bible is a mixture of lies and truth and should be discarded because the concepts together confuse the hell out of everyone.

Read Conversations with God by Neale Walsch if you want to know the truth about you, me, Jesus, and others.
