Why do Jehovahs Witnesses commit racism and discrimination?

I have a friend who lives on the west coast. She's had it pretty bad in a very racist town (whites of course) since she's moved there but she did get baptized several years ago. She has children and saw that many children in the congregation were behaving ungodly so she tried talking to the parents but the parents obviously didn't care; hence that's where the kids got their ungodly behavior from the parents. So she finally, after going to the elders and attempting to have a meeting with the ill-mannered witnesses, stopped the association between her kids and the bad seeds.

Now the bad kids and their parents call and harass her, say racial slurs, gossip and spread lies/false rumors about her and when she tried to talk to the elders about it, one yelled at her and told her not to ever call him again. Now, needless to say, she does not attend that lily-white congregation anymore and has asked the society in New York for help. Most witnesses are bringing badness to the organization.

My friend is African American and now because she does not attend that bad kingdom hall the whole thing was a farce and she is disabled also. She feels and is completely trapped though I try to help her even though I'm thousands of miles away.

The so-called society keeps pushing her back to her congregation but it's a never-ending cycle of frustration and bigotry. She has no food and no means of transportation because another white male driver crashed her vehicle and lied about it. No one is helping her and she is going under.

I think it's all a farce and I don't see the difference in these so-called witnesses than do I in other lame religions. She is suffering and they won't even help or call to see if she needs anything, but they do harbor and protect racists within their own kingdom hall. What a crock or garbage.

Look no further than most of the publications they put out. Most of them depict Moses, Job and others including Adam and Eve as very white skinned people with blue eyes even. Also, many are haughty and puffed up believing that they cannot fall, that they are the ones who will make it past Armageddon. Many of these ones are very prejudice and I personally don't see the difference between them and the world outside the organization. It is that many of these so-called witnesses will be part of that 90% of those that won't make it at Armageddon. Jehovah should cleanse these ones from the congregations and the organization all over because they do nothing but hurt it and those who love Jehovah and all people.

As far as your friend, I am very sorry she is experiencing this outrageousness from those in the congregation even the ones supposed to be leading it. We are all imperfect but ones like them over use that word "imperfect" and they expect that everyone else should look past them.

I can't believe the one elder yelled at her? That is totally uncalled for. He should not be in the position that he is in when she was already suffering enough, he had to drive the stake in much deeper. It's that whole white thing is right and you're wrong even though you're Black with the truth and facts on your side. I am just appalled that he was not properly reprimanded and removed. I have a friend that has experienced some similar treatment. The ones leading even allowed others to tell lies on her and her family right in front of them during a meeting. Her family and her just sat there shocked and knowing nothing would be done. One elder even yelled at her for her trying to show him some evidence of the witnesses who were persecuting her. The elder did not want to see it and waved it off in disgust. My friend does not attend that hall anymore either.

Why should these ones be leading the congregations when they are so discriminatory and bigoted towards those who are not white like they are? You are not alone and not all of them are bad, but many are not good and need to be cleansed out. These are critical times hard to deal with and many who call themselves witnesses are no exception.

Yes, they are. They have segregation mentality and stereotype cast deeply into their brain-washing system. They distribute fliers in the streets with racial discrimination, if you look east asian even though you are not from china and don't understand chinese they will shove their way in and give you leaflet *only* in Chinese. That's to describe how they are on the surface, how much more on the inside. You'll see pictures of strictly segregated couples by races all over inside their literature. The world must do more to expose this cult.
