We as Christians are the ones that got to be careful what we say because WE have the knowledge. Insulting a non-believer is just pushing them away. And when you push people away from God, YOU have the chance of losing approval from God!
We are to use love. We are not suppose to attack each other but try to reason with non-believers!
Non-believers are easier to be forgiven by God because they don't know, but WE as christians know what we are doing. And doing something that we know is wrong (like insulting others) is what makes it a sin!

Dear Rae,

Thank you. I learned a bit more about you from this question. I already knew you were nice and smart, now I know you are very nice and very smart, and have a generous and loving spirit. This was great! I wish the insults would stop all around, pagans, Christians, everyone. Perhaps things will be different soon :-)

I was a Christian, and I know about Christian theology. I have chosen another spiritual path, and I wish blessings to all who have stayed with Christianity or who are on any path that works to help them be the best they can be. You are a lovely lady! Special blessings to you.

I'm glad you said WE because I thought some one was putting down Christians, the way Christians offend others with their views.

Rights are extended to races, both sexes, and so-called "life-styles choises" like same sex adultery and executing young children under the age of 9 months...

BUT there is no right to hold Christian standards. If you quote God's Word, the law of the land may brand you unfairly.

Yes Christians do offend others, rightly or wrongly, trying to communicate the truth that our best is often not good enough for God.

It is tough love!

Sometimes we go too far. Thank God for Yahoo! catching the worst brain farts! We will not be perfect until we see Him in the after-life.

My fear, and i think it is yours, is that God will be falsely associated with our excessive responces to sin.

God is Love. He commands us to love others...but we can hate sin.

Often the message gets mixed up.

Sometimes we sin ourselves, in our honest attemps to oppose sin.

Sometimes a christian is new to faith, and very foolish in their behaviour.

And then some so-called christians are just fooling themselves.

People don't read the word of God. They look to us "christians", unfairly judging God by us.

We are their only "bible", or we're a "libel", harming God's reputation!

Sinners, God Loves YOU!!! And we LOVE YOU
...but hate the sins!

You need to remember that all people are not Christians here who say they are Christians. We all should stay away from insulting others, all of us.

I personally do not care for this kind of whining. We all know what is right and what is wrong.

Exactly, Rae. You castch more files with honey than with vinegar. I you hope to obtain converts then you can't start off by atacking the ones you wish to convert. If Christianity is supposed to be all about LOVE then Christians need to PRACTICE that love on those that they wish to bring to them. No one is going to come to a group that is belligerent against them.

i think of you're below a false impression. purely followers of Jachweh (who claims to be the only god around, yet on the comparable time forbids his followers to worship the different gods, haha) try this. Or in different words: purely the Abrahamics (monotheists, or jewish, christians, muslims) try this. the priority is they declare there is entirely one god, and of direction it relatively is theirs. there is the place each and all the themes all started. you do no longer discover those fights (or wars!!) in any pagan cultures. whilst they did combat over different themes (land, alledged crimes), they on no account killed one yet another for believing in a "incorrect" god! purely the monotheists did (and do!) that. We pagans are very tolerant whilst it includes deities. certainly everyone has different deities to worship, and no one is insulting every person because of the fact of their determination of worshipped deities. In Rome they used to ask human beings "what deity is worshipped in this kin?" in the past offering rituals or advantages, and that i in simple terms needed this could come back. Why can we no longer purely settle for that human beings worship different gods? properly, we Pagans try this. purely the Abrahamics are the priority. THEY have been killing certainly everyone who isn't prepared to transform. That approach continues to be going on. whilst the literal killing isn't on your man or woman usa anymore (what occurs in Iraq isn't shown or advised in US-media!!), fundamentalistic christians turn very aggressive against all non-christians, and that they do no longer even hesitate to blur out nonsense like "It could desire to be "Merry Christmas", because of the fact the information Christmas is teach that this holiday is for Christians and brought about by employing CHRIST's start, and hence the stupid pagans and their wintry climate solstice could desire to close up" and such... This exhibits a brilliant loss of education, because of the fact the start of the english language and the violent christianisation of Europe have been happenenig on the comparable time in historic previous and are hence related. As an english speaker I (the German) anticipate you to be responsive to those issues, yet my expectancies are often withered interior moments... They on no account think of only one 2nd with reference to the roots of their very own language, they do no longer additionally be responsive to the place their words and words got here from traditionally. Now, those form of folk can probable no longer be helped, can they?

While I appreciate the sentiment, if you are using love as a means to get us to believe, it's still rather underhanded.

But if you are simply treating us with love, I'm good with that.
