don't know what he'd do if he came back (which obviously can't happen, as he is dead) BUT I know he'd roll over in his grave if he knew what people did "in his name". He lived as a devout Jew- he died a Jew. He knew it was a sin to worship a false deity- there is only one g-d. He knew he wasn't the messiah. Crosses are disgusting reminders of one of the most cruel forms of torture- a quarter of a million Jews as well as others, were put to death that way by the Romans.

The focus on the scars, wounds, torture, and death of Jesus is one of those qualities of proselytizers that makes it baffling why anyone would want to join the party. I guess they're like Emo at heart, man.

Sort of, but I think Jesus would be glad that some people still remember him. Besides Jesus makes for a tough logo, what else could you use? A wine filled water jug? Loaf of bread? A carpenter's saw (for Jesus' occupation) Personally I cannot think of a decent logo in lieu of a crucifix.

The empty cross is a symbol of His victory over death. The ones with Jesus still on the cross to me seem to dwell on the death, not the victory.

Jesus is already with us all of the time. The crosses and crucifixes are a reminder to us of His Passion and how He loved us so much He died for our sins. This helps us to remember his loving Mercy and how forgiving he is.

I seriously doubt he'd be surprised..with or without returning, he knows whats going down on earth..lol. and whenever we have crusifixes around, it's in honor of him..it's not like we're trying to make him feel bad for dying on a cross..lol.

Only the christians delude themselves to think a superior entity would WANT anything to do with this species AGAIN, "especially" after what happened to him in Jerusalem. THEIR kind are not of this world just as OUR kind are not of theirs....
