experts say that you can burn fats through low intensty and long duration exercises.i just got plantar fasciitis from running,and required to rest at least a week.is it still possible to lose fats on my belly?i have a daily consumption of 1200 cal per day.

the body is always burning fat at rest, fatty acids are the primary energy source of skeletal muscle when at rest.

unless you are about 80 lbs 1,200 cals daily is going to put you in starvation mode and especially if you are exercising on top of that. you never want to consume less calories than your BMR requires as that is the absolute minimum caloric intake
