"If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it." (Malachi 2:2-3)

the seed is corrupted by the way they are raised. if you dont go to church then you surely wont teach you children the "good" habit of going or the ways of the LORD and the seed will be corrupted. Keep that in mind when you read Hosea 4;6 too. it seems so unfair but its actually just logical. thats just the way its gonna go Your children learn it from you and those you let hang out at your pad. thats just the way it goes

Corrupt seed is an impure bloodline. A family bloodline that has been compromised by mixing with another bloodline thereby diluting the pure blood.

Well, I can't be 100% sure...but I would think that it is saying that you would be unable to father children. This would be a huge blow to someone in a patriarchal society, as your fortune would pass to some other family if you were unable to produce an heir.

Translation/commentary: "...corrupt your..."

Malachi 2:3.
corrupt, &c.--literally, "rebuke," answering to the opposite prophecy of blessing ( Mal 3:11 ), "I will rebuke the devourer." To rebuke the seed is to forbid its growing.

your--literally, "for you"; that is, to your hurt.
