Lost gospels? I don't believe there are any lost gospels because God is soverign. He is completely in control. I don't think that any created being could pull one over God. Can you imagine that? God, "Oh no, the Word!, I cannot believe Constantine is tweaking the meaning!" Nope, not possible. God puts into power those He wants in power and takes away those He does not. He reigns supreme. What's in the Bible now was always supposed to be in the Bible. It's God's all inspired work. :-)

Well, I, for one, believe that God does give us what He wants us to have. Your will to believe the lost gospels need found is YOUR will. If it is God's will, then let it be done.

On a side note: I find it absolutely amazing how people believe they have ALL the answers to God's will and mind. The bible is but a guide...there is alot of room for interpretations and it is a living thing and doesn't have the exact impression on every individual. But, God made us all individuals and Christ's body is made up of many parts...both pretty and vile. So, I wish people would quit thinking they have all the answers as if they need to have all the answers...faith is believing without all the answers!!! Each one of us are needed as God has given us individuality for a reason.

If God intended for the "lost gospels" to be part of the Bible they would already be included today and thus not lost.

Reading the Old and New Testaments will teach you what happened and what will happen (Revelations).

There is enough information already available that can be gleaned by reading your Bible! If there are any "lost" gospels then God has not seen fit to reveal them to us yet for a reason! I doubt the existance of any "lost" gospel!

Great care must be taken when deciding which of the "lost gospels" to accept. St. Luke wrote his gospel because there were already so many conflicting accounts of Jesus' ministry.

What is given to us is what is necessary. It would be good to have more books but God gives us what we need and most everything we need is right there in the Bible. Revelation speaks all about what is going to happen. Side note, many say something is going to happen in 2012, but God says he'll come like a thief in the night.
But yeah, I believe it would be good to have but not extremely necessary.

No. My Jesus was not married. The Christ i know was holy, sinless, and the One who was passionate about me and the world.

He died, and He rose again, so that He overcame death and sin. So today, we can overcome death and sin too.

I believe the Bible that I have is what I need to know.

Galatians 1:8
But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!

The Gnostic Gospels are generally known. They deviate so much from the four that can be verified, as to make them irrelevant and unreliable.

Funny you feel that you don't believe the gospels we do have but you do believe alleged lost gospels.

The Bible is complete. There are no "lost gospels" that some how got "left out of" the Bible.
