Forget the term "global warming" and everything circling it. Do you believe there is a problem with the amount of trash we produce? Do you believe there is a problem with the amount of pollution we produce?

Please follow my rules or you will be ignored (at least by me):
1. No speak of Al Gore.
2. Do not insult others.
3. Please only reply with whether you believe there is a problem; or if you think there is no problem.

No. The air and water is much cleaner now than it was in the 1960's. There have been great advances in technology that help keep the planet green.

Green is very, very profitable.

I believe we do have a problem. In fact Earth has a problem ever since the existence of life. But that's beside the point. We as americans should actually take part in what the rest of the world is doing, that is: mass transport, or smaller and better efficient vehicles. A way to gain energy and to lose landfill space(our produced trash) is to grind it up to a mulch, and make power(electricity) out of it. But this may cause another problem for the o-zone. I believe that if we don't stop polluting the oceans with so much trash, and chemicals, that soon enough in the next 20 to 30 years we will have a lot more illness and disease due to where you live and how the water is there. I also believe that not in my life time( I'm 19), but my kids(have none!) or more possibly my grandkid's lifetime, from all the pollution from YOUR PIECE OF **** HUMMERS, EXCURSIONS, and large SUV vehicles that us as Americans don't need, you get maybe 11 miles to the gallon in one of those (2 exampled vehicles), but produce enough pollution that a single tree couldn't handle it. I don't know if all this ramble helps, but if you want to know more, just ask...

I think if we weren't so concerned with producing CO2, a harmless gas, then we could help solve both the trash problem and generate electricty by using pollution controlled incinerators to get rid of the trash and generate electricity at the same time.

I think about it all the time. I wonder how we can manage for much longer. Most of the fish we catch have mercury in them.. lakes, rivers, ocean.. all have some sort of pollution. even our space have so much space junk that it is unsafe for astronauts to do space walks.. that also has to come down sometime.. I plan to live in the country soon as i hate city living and I do try my best to not leave my dirt around.. and to be honest the governments should really do something drastic soon! even though we might lose some creature comforts.. we must think of saving this poor old planet. We are the same as a disease killing our Host!

If you like breathing dirty air then no there isn't a problem with the air if you like eating toxic waste then no there isn't a thing wrong with dumping trash everywhere . If you like drinking toxins that comes out of ground water then no how can there be a problem . But if you think all those things aren't good for you then yes there is a problem

I do think there's a problem with the amount of trash we produce. I do think there's a problem with the pollution. I think that global warming will lead to global freezing and I think that we have the opportunity to control it.

Considering all that pollution has given us, from medical breakthroughs to refrigeration... no, it is not a problem.

We need to continue to be as "earth friendly" as possible, but we should not do that at a very high cost that will cripple our economy or industries.

We actually do a very good job--at least in the US--at being pretty environmentally friendly.

Yes there is a problem. We are producing too much garbage. Everyone should have to recycle. Where I live, it is still each persons choice to recycle or not. People near me still burn their trash and leaves too. It's gross and very bad for the earth.

Pollution is a huge problem in China. How will our athletes perform?

Yes in Mexico and China, no in the USA. But the USA still has to keep controls like they do now but they should use it as an excuse to tax more so they can spend the money on something else.
