It depends on the area you live in and the quality of the breeder. Beware as they are many con artists breeding Boxers. They are a popular breed and so many people are trying to make money off them.

Make sure both parents are health tested. Before giving any money for a puppy, make sure you see written proof of a 24 hour Holter test and an Echocardiogram from a Cardiologist on both parents. Boxers have heart problems and you do not want your young Boxer to drop dead in front of the family :(

A breeder that health tests their dogs is a breeder that is doing what they can to try and breed a healthy litter. This also includes OFA or PennHip for hips. Don't just take someone's word they health tested. Irresponsible breeders will lie to try and trick you into buying their lesser bred puppies.

A quality breeder will be honest and not give you the run around. They will explain the breed and all its health issues. They will make sure your home is a good match for their dog.

And no quality breeder will charge you more for AKC papers. The litter is either eligible to be registered or it is not. The AKC suspends breeders that try to "sell" their registration papers.

Just beware and be careful. I hope you find the Boxer buddy of your life :)

750.00 plus depending; please make sure it is a lifetime commitment ; having 2 and raising several litters, I placed with great homes and turned down over 30 both times; just a search on line today pulled up some 4,000 unwanted boxers or boxer mixed; it is unfair to get bored, or not train or not invest to the lifetime of a dog ; if that isn't something you can undertake, then volunteer to help transport, raise money etc to better the life of a pet once loved as a puppy and throw away as an adult. It breaks my heart; they are a great breed and shouldn't be tossed away like a paper cup; I have a rule with all my boxer owners that no matter what , at any time, I will take back any dog before they even think about abandoning it or surrender to a shelter; they will always have a home no matter what and I will always find a way to make it work no matter what sacrifice I need to make. The homes that I screened still keep in contact for both litters some 6 years later; have come back for visits and send pictures often. That is the difference when you love this breed.

As already mentioned you must by no means purchase a canine from a organization , do your homework and look for a respectable breeder (naked bare , Jasmer & The Greek are one hundred% right in what they are saying) . When you buy a canine you're speaking about an addition to your loved ones so that you have to understand exactly what you are shopping . Every time i bought a dog i might ensure i might talk over with the breeder and spot how they maintain there animals , then do some study as to the breeders history . A excellent breeder has nothing to hide and your request to visit shall be influenced , in some cases you may pay extra but it's good valued at it . Consistently determine the pedigree and be certain that the lines of dam & sire don't clash with each different . Well noticed "The Greek" i must be getting ancient lacking the manifestly obvious connection between the asker and answerers you acknowledged . Thumbs Up.

It really depends on what state you are in. I sell my puppies from $950.00 to $1050.00 but I live in Florida. and that is the middle grade price. But I just bought 2 great quality boxers from KY. and paid $500.00 each. I have always said be careful of very cheap puppies. because as a breeder taking care of a puppies properly is not cheap. and They are not doing something to be able to sell for 2 -3 hundred.. Good luck on your boxer puppy search.

Depends on the breeder and the stock. Pets on a spay/nueter contract run 300-700, not on a contract could be as much as 1000
