Sorry, I don't give advice to illegals or those who support them. My heart lies only with those who play by the rules.

I asked this very question to an airline once and all they would say was that they needed to see a valid picture ID. I do not know if they would take an expired passport, but I doubt they have the authority to check your visa, and if they ask, you could just say it is in process. Everyone knows it takes USCIS years to get paperwork updated.

Oh - if the minor is unaccompanied, they will require the parents to complete forms and they will check their IDs too.

Is the minor traveling alone or with an adult? Either way, an I.D. with a picture on it is all he or she will need. Do not be intimidated by what some individuals in this forum are telling you. Anyway, just to make sure, visit the airline's website. Hopefully you will find the information you need there. If not, you can always call the airline. GOOD LUCK!

You need identification to board a plane, so you must be prepared to show who you are and that you are legal.

Illegal aliens are crawling all over our country now, I don't think being under-age has anything to do with it!

Yeah all you need is ID to get on the plane. They only check it to make sure you are the person on the ticket.

but you may want to get that straightened out.

As long as you are headed South, and cross the border, I am happy. NO ID REQUIRED.

Why do criminals expect to be treated like law abiding citizens?

Also, if you have such pride in being Mexican, why not be in MEXICO?? You must really think it's a craphole there if you are willing to risk your life to be here. One thing I LOVE about being American is that we can actually have PRIDE in being from our country.

Go, in person, to the nearest ICE office and ask them.
