You'll need to go to the vet to get antibiotics or drops. Please go soon, or it might turn into an infection and bigger problem.

Im a little worried that someone mentioned using salt water! I could be wrong but I have never heard of this and for obvious reasons this sounds like an extremely bad idea. You would scratch the cornea. The other posts sounded about right. If its not clear talk to a vet.

he does need to get to the vets but it's probably just a little eye infection that should be easily treatable. find out the laws where you are a lot of states have a law saying if a vet finds the pup unfit for sale you can attempt to cure it up to the purchase price but teh dog needs to be seen in the first week and this would be best incase there are any ohter problems.
good luck

Terramycin can be bought at your pet store. Most of the larger stores carry it or it can be bought online at

This is an antibiotic salve that is meant to be put in the eye.
If any one around you makes Colloidal Silver, this also will cure up an infection. I used it on one of my cat's eye infection a few months ago. Cleared it right up!

If the discharge is anything other than clear it is usually a sign of infection. Only a vet can help you with that.

At least call your vet, or even the breeder you got your pup from.

If you need vet help then why don't you go see one? No one on the internet can diagnose your dog.
