Hey ever wonder why people call us Christians hypocrites?

The thing is this.Christians have 2 natures in them.We still have the sinful nature that EVERYONE has from Adam.BUT--we also have a new nature from Jesus Christ which means we have desires to do what God says in His word.We have been bornagain of incorruptable seed.
So,the unsaved may not appear to look like a hypocrite,(although everyone is),BUT that is because the unsaved only have the SINFUL nature and therefore have no desire for Jesus Christ or the bible.CULTS like the mormons,catholics,and Jehovahs Witnesses have a fake "jesus" that is NOT the real Jesus of the bible.

Jesus said to be perfect as God in heaven is perfect; he didn't say "Try real hard to be perfect, but if you can't, it's okay because you have two natures." He didn't say that desiring perfection was enough, you had to BE perfect. There is also a passage in 1 John telling us that he who is born again DOES NOT sin and CANNOT sin. Christians sin all the time yet they also tell us they are born again. Are they lying, mistaken, or hypocrites? All this talk of "two natures" and "incorruptible seed" is meaningless to those of us who are watching you from the outside. I see people claiming to believe one thing while behaving in a way that suggests they really believe something else--and that is why I think you are hypocrites.

Do you really believe Jesus is coming soon? You will answer Yes, but the fact that you buy stuff, live in a house, have a job and/or attend school, and prepare for the future, suggest that you plan on being around for quite awhile yet. This is contrary to Jesus' message of living in poverty, selling your possessions, and not preparing for the future. He said these things because he thought he would be returning within the lifetimes of his disciples. Two thousand years later, there is no sign of him and I'm pretty sure most of you have given up on ever seeing him, despite your preaching to the contrary.

I do agree, Christians sometimes are labelled hypocrites and sometimes that's because they are. We have the highest standard to live up to, so we have to rely on the Holy Spirit if we are to have any success, and we will fail and we do.
Nevertheless we continue, not under legalism but under Grace -the forgiveness and Love of God.
Christians are empowered to live in a new way that challenges society's norm and makes people think, light in the darkness.
We still have a responsibility to live in the freedom of Grace and by the Power of the Spirit to set a new standard of living. As Christ's ambassadors we must represent Him rightly so we must take responsibility to ensure that what we preach is what we practice (def. in my case), so that when we do fail we acknowledge it. - e.g 'Yes I was wrong and I'm sorry.' I shouldn't have said that to my work colleague.
I shouldn't have got so angry, I really should forgive that person etc.....

1. Jesus isn't proper, for J didn't come around till 1500's. Means Jesus is Iesus or better known as Earth Pig or Son of Zeus.

2. Jesus is not G_D. Read Isaiah 43:11 let alone read commandment no. 1.

3. Proper name is Yahushua. For he was born of Hebrew and will come in his fathers name. Since his fathers name is YHWH that means the son is Yah.

4. In no way shape or form can Jesus ever become Yahushua through translation. For names do not change like that. Gnostic's created that name Jesus.

In all honesty i've got faith that all and sundry at it sluggish or yet another has been a hypocrite to some degree or yet another. I do locate it ironic that there are some who have faith there are not any purpose ethical standards yet they call being a hypocrite incorrect. I agree presently here that Christians can look like hypocrits; I disagree with why. Catholics, Mormons, and JW's might be closer to the scriptural truth than many in USA realize.

0 witness --- total ignorance
1 witness --- man, opinion, speculation, assertion
2 or more witnesses- scripture, fact(Matt. 18:16, etc)

The Bible may be on 1 witness level; scripture on 2 or more witnesses level (i.e. bible is not identical with scripyture).

YOU are responsible for what you do, whether you cheat, lie, steal, or murder. If you killed someone and told the police that the sin that Adam did was the reason you killed someone, do you honestly think they would be like "well, Jesus forgives you, so we do, too." NO.

BESIDES, a large number of Christians are hypocrites, thinking that just because they go to church, eat, and drink the food there they are superior to those who aren't Christians. I admit that there are people who don't think like that, but there are MANY.
