of course you make a noise because you hear it. this is a different situation then a tree falling in the middle of the woods. Just because no one else heard you scream you did.

Yes of course. "Noise" is equivalent to "sound" and you can make a sound even if nobody hears it because technically somebody still did hear it- you! You can hear noises that you make yourself.
Haven't you ever like stubbed your toe and yelped (with nobody around) and said to yourself "I can't believe I just yelped like a dog" (kind of lame, but you get my point)
