The same thing I said about the prophecy ending the world in, what was it, 98? 2005? These happen all the time and are always to be ignored. The world will end when the sun runs out of fuel, expands and incinerates us. I doubt that'll be 2012.

It's from the Mayan Calendar and the day is 12/21/2012. A cosmic event will happen whereby our Sun lines up with the center of our Milky Way and the Earth "bobbles" on its axis. This happens once every 26,000 years. There is also writings of theirs that pertain to the aftermath of the event. A time of change and renewal. Since the Mayans were very specific about numbers and equations, I wonder what the significance might be by the number sequence of 122112? As for me and myself - I am going to do everything I can to be the person the Lord wants me to be, do what he wants me to do and have confidence that what ever may or may not happen, I will be better than OK.

It says that the Earth's mantle is going to shift in a matter of hours. Continents are going to move like crazy. Which means it will bring hurricanes and earthquakes to every coutinents on Earth.

We can just pray the prophecy is DEAD wrong!!!

There is no prophecy about the world ending in 2012.
You are thinking about the ending of the Mayan calender.
Which is precisely December 21, 2012.

Jesus said "No one knows of the hour or day, not the son, not even the angels, but only the Father"

Hello,

Isn't 2012 the Aztec prophecy? Anyway I feel as I do for all other world end predictions that have come and gone... I'm still here.

The world will not end 2012.

Even if the seven-year tribulation period was to begin tomorrow, seven years would bring us to the year 2014. From the end of the tribulation period, the world will continue on through the seven last plagues and the Millennium (a thousand years), to finally be destroyed after the battle of Gog and Magog.

This is around the year that the prophecy in Daniel runs out. Why say anything about it, it's only four years away. I will be an interested observer if I'm still around. Remember Y-2-K?

I think maybe an exaggeration is in progress. The Mayan Prophecy state information about 2012 as it does about the year 2006. The end of the world would not quite be accurate. End of man perhaps but not the world.

He´ll come like a thief in the night. The world might end today, in 2012 or in 3000. Only the Father knows the day!!
