Why are there people born with mental and physical disorders? Why should a woman need to bleed once a month to be able to have children? Why do we have body organs that have no use, or that we can function perfectally without (tonsils, appendix, etc)? The list goes on.

For a god who is supposedly all-powerful, couldn't he have done a better job at constructing the human body?

He created Lucifer "Perfect" and look at what happened.
Perhaps perfection (who's standards?) means a rebellion against him.
With that in mind, imagine if we WERE all "perfect". We could gang up big time! hehehehe

From a Pagan POV (and IMHO), there is no such thing as perfect. Everything is different. No 2 trees are alike, yet they are all beautiful. Same as Humans.
Being "perfect" means there has to be a design to go by and any deviations from that would be an imperfection.
I don't want to be a clone. I am perfect as I am.

Why are people born with mental and physical disorders? Many reasons...not all can be explained at this time, but many can and none of them indicate that God created man to be imperfect. Some mental and physical disorders are a result of environmental toxins...for example, research has shown that alcohol consumption during pregnancy can lead to such problems as mental retardation, organ deformities, nearsightedness, and MANY more possible mental and physical disorders. Other toxins can cause genetic and/or chromosomal defects that, while they may not affect the parent, are passed on to the child and cause mental and physical defects. Sin (for example, incest) can also cause mental and physical defects that may intensify through generations.

Why do women need to bleed once a month to be able to have children? Because a developing egg requires fertile ground in which to grow and mature. A chicken egg is filled with a fluid that supports the growing chick inside...a woman is no different. Until the fetus develops enough to form the umbilical cord from which it draw nutrition (through blood), the lining of the uterus provides the necessary blood elements to allow the egg to grow. ...and this blood needs to be replaced once a month to keep it fresh so that a woman's body is ready to support life each time she ovulates (once a month!).

Why do we have organs that have no use or that we can function "perfectly" without? Modern medical research has demonstrated that we really don't have any useless organs. The tonsils are thought to assist the body in its defense against incoming bacteria and viruses by helping the body to form antibodies. However, this function may only be important during the first year of life. Some research indicates that people who have their tonsils removed are four times more likely to develop Hodgkins disease. The appendix is part of the immune system and while humans can function without it, that doesn't mean it doesn't serve a purpose. Some studies suggest that it protects against bacterial infection and it is also possible that the appendix serves a purpose in a developing fetus.

...and last of all, you have to consider the impact of thousands (or perhaps hundreds of thousands) of years of reproduction and environmental change. Any of the seemingly useless organs may have served a purpose under different environmental conditions. Furthermore, God's original creation (Adam and Eve) have undergone many many generations of reproduction and the consequences of bad decisions made by man (sin if you will). The people alive today are the product of millions of sins including decisions to pollute the environment with chemical combinations that didn't exist when God designed the machine, the decision to eat meat instead of plants (and to genetically alter meat and plants), incest and other types of unwise breeding decisions, and a whole lot more.

Actually, I think it is pretty amazing that we've held up as well as we have as human beings. God created perfect beings in Adam and Eve...and he gave those beings a choice of living the way he wanted them to live or choosing to disobey his orders. Perhaps God didn't want them to eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil not just because he didn't want them to suffer the burden of having to make those kind of choices...perhaps it also contained a toxin that, over the centuries, lead to the development of birth defects and supposedly "useless" organs???

Once more we run into the problem of basing a religion on a committee, or more than one. A set of writers, a set of editors, and a group of approvers to decide what got included and what got left out. Or maybe this is like a camel being a horse designed by a committee. If God left it up to a few of his closest advisors--shall we call them angels?--then maybe the job got messed up a bit. Goes to prove the old axiom that if you want something done right, you need to do it yourself.

Or maybe the design was perfect, but the material being used was dust, and probably from somewhere like China, where you never know what passed the quality control folks.

God created earth and we ruined it. When we abused the earth the air the water we created disease, and birth defects. We still do not know how everything works in our body. we were given rules on how to run society we had a choose and chose to follow our own ways. Then we cry like baby's to God and we as individuals have nothing to blame but our selves. When did you step in and try to stop a friend from abusing the earth when did you stand up for a friend or another person being treated badly, If you stood up as a vesicle of God you could have stoped it. Take a look at how are body's work, the beauty of a child, or your pet . It makes everything look like a play school toy.

Originally, the human body was perfect. We lived over 800 years. Adam and Eve changed all that thus the pain of childbirth. Man is the reason we have all these defects. Sickness and disease. We are the ones who eat chemicals, take drugs, drink, smoke and insist on keeping people alive who would have otherwise been weeded out by natural selection of "only the strong survive." The only "imperfection" man was made with his is free will.

At first, in the golden age, man lived in perfect health, and knowledge.
But we misused our free will. Over time, the planet became trashed by us. We ruined the food God made perfectly. We ruined the air, God made perfectly. We take God out of the schools and government.
We are born with defects. We have bad weather. We fight and argue. It is all the accumulated result of our selfish and ignorant actions.

God COULD just take away our free will and make us perfect robots. But then how would we become wise? How would we know Love?

This is not a perfect world, you know that already.
And we were given free will, and we did foul that up!
And since then all all creation suffers for it, untill such a time.
This is clearly explained in the NT, and says even the earth groans, waiting for God..cap G.

And untill mere man, can outdo God in creation and we know that will never happen.

So thats it, its like a car accident, once your new hummer gets hit, its never the same..and once we sinned the first time, we died in spirit, but grace takes care of that.
And when we go back home to God, we are given our new bodies with out defect.

So there is a happy ending.
I have yet to see anyone disprove God.

God did create each and every thing suitable, even devil, yet iniquity became modern-day in devil & became solid out of heaven as a fallen angel with many different angels that fell with him. God created Adam & Eve suitable until the Upright creature reported as the serpent deceived Eve, & then sin got here into the image. Now God has a suitable plan of salvation to deliver us lower back to him.

Who said he created imperfect people? His original creation was perfect. Earth & Humans. They later fell short of that mark of perfection when they disobeyed God.

Those being born today are not being "created" by God... not individually. They are the product of the procreative ability given to the first humans, Adam & Eve.

This world is not Paradise and was not created as one. Everything has a wisdom behind it even if those slow scientists didn't figure it out yet.

This life is full of calamaties. It is Paradise which is free of them.
