A machine with any intelligence at all would still question the possibility.

While theism and superstition often matches in definition (see especially superstition: "b" below), it is not the only kind of superstition that exists. As an atheist, I can believe that if I board an airplane on a certain day of the week, it will crash. That superstition does not make me any less of an atheist, however, as it does not require a belief in a deity.
Therefore, my answer to your question is: no.
Superstition: 1 a : a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, trust in magic or chance, or a false conception of causation b : an irrational abject attitude of mind toward the supernatural, nature, or God resulting from superstition
atheism: a disbelief in the existence of deity b : the doctrine that there is no deity

A machine is incapable of belief and therefore can neither believe nor not believe. A machine cannot be an atheist any more than it can be a theist. Atheism is the non belief in gods. It says nothing about spritualism, superstition or other beliefs although many atheists do not accept superstition of spiritualism either.

"Atheism" simply means "no belief in deity". That's ALL the term means. I don't know why people try to stretch it to include other things.
Do humans do some things that some people would view as "superstitious" or "illogical"? Sure. There's no "logical" reason why we should fire 21 guns off in the air when somebody dies, or use our breath to extinguish little fires on the anniversary date of our birth, or wear square hats on graduation day. But humans love symbolism and ritualistic expression. That's never going to go away, even if you threw out religion altogether.

For me personally, I really want there to be an afterlife where everything will be paradise and I will be reunited with my departed family and friends. It would be a wonderful thing if that were true. But my logical side looks at the world around us and says "There is no way for God to exist". I would love for it to be real, but from this perspective I just don't buy into it. When I think of the afterlife and feel like there is something more, I ask myself "Is this just my brain saying this to me?"

I believe it is more possible for the only way for us to find atheists are people who are A.I. Then again, there are some atheists who have a little belief in the higher power(s).

No cause I've prayed a lot of times for my car to start when it wouldn't. So an obedient machine isn't exactly an atheist is it

Machines can't be atheists. Machines don't have beliefs, they have programming. Atheist means no belief in God(s). Period.

Nope, no superstition in this head whatsoever. And last I checked I wasn't plugged into the wall.
Hint: other people are not extensions of your personality. WE'RE ALL DIFFERENT!

Do you think a "christian" or a "muslim" needs to be a machine too? Because I can't seem to find one that follows EVERY single thing they are supposed to either.
