I'm painting the walls, and i've decided to do white and deep red, but if anybody knows any other colors that go well with a deep red, that would be great!

It's a loungeish area, a hangout space basically. Also, it's in a basement, so there's no natural light.

Deep blue-red [ crimson ], deep yellow-red [ scarlet ], or true red?
Try [ depending on shade ]:
gold accents
silver accents
coffee brown
black or iron accents
medium to charcoal gray
hunter green, leaf green
teal blue, smoke blue
amber

Instead of white, I would use a deep brown or golden color.
