Wouldn't slimming your child be a better long-term and responsible solution?
EDIT: FWIW, I am a four-time parent.

If you still can't find the correct sizes in any of the places listed, I would just say forget about the pants. My little brother is husky, and he never wears pants. My mom has to buy his shorts a little bigger to fit in the waist so they are a little bit longer, but that's the style nowadays. My two boys are skinny so I've never had this problem, but they still prefer shorts to pants. I don't see anything wrong with boys just wearing shorts, even when it gets cold. Buy him shorts that are long, some nice long sleeve shirts, a good hoodie, and he should be good to go.
My daughter is tall and skinny and we have all kinds of problems buying pants for that girl, so I can sympathize with you. As long as your son is comfortable in his clothes and with himself, that's all that matters.
Oh, and just to add, my little brother is going into the 7th grade, and like I said he is on the chunky side. He is very popular in school, has a ton of friends, has already had a couple of girlfriends, and as far as I know, has never been made fun of in school. He is very active, plays football, soccer, skateboards, rides quads...you name it, he does it. He doesn't drink soda or juice, he rarely eats fast food. My mom is very good about making sure he eats healthy and gets exercise. He has been to the doctor, nothing wrong with him whatsoever. He is just chunky. So, to everybody that's giving the OP crap about her son being husky, lay off. You don't know all the details.

lands end makes husky or something similar and they run big so that might work? You can buy the eights and have a seamstress cut and hem them to the right length. I have no idea as to the why's of your sons girth however if its not medical I'd urge you intervene, get him moving-feed him alot of small meals, cut out sugar and junk, swap water for juice because in grade school kids are CRUEL and fat kids are the first picked on by 2nd grade and it just gets uglier as they age.
