There were two thieves also crucified that day.Nothing is said whether they carried their own cross. the other two were tied with rope and Jesus was nailed. Allot of difference and much more painful things were done to him.

As a general rule crosses were assembled on site and the prisoner only carried the shorter vertical end as a form of constraint. But a good deal of condemned prisoners did drag or carry their own cross in unplanned crucifixions and if wood was scarce. Most of the prisoners from the slave rebellion led by Spartacus were crucified from trees rather than full handmade crosses. I'd estimate 30% of all crucified roman prisoners carried their own crosses to their execution. That number would be in the thousands if not tens of thousands. Crucifixions were a Roman terror tactic that tended to keep the populous in line.

Traditionally, the condemned man carried his own cross. There is no Biblical record if the two thieves crucified that day carried their own crosses. Jesus, however, stumbled and fell twice according to tradition, and Simon the Cyrene was ordered by Roman soldiers to finish carrying Jesus' cross to Golgotha.

A common way to give a
death sentence to a criminal
in Jesus' day was by crucifiction. Which means
hanging on a cross until dead.
Many criminals were crucified
in Roman days. This was another of the pains and sufferings that Jesus endured for the salvation of man (humankind).

I shall finish my race, I shall keep the faith. Christ never wavered even in the face of death. He bore the weight of His responsibilities... He carried His cross to death, which gave me life.
I am not sure you understand what you are talking about, but what you need to know is that as a Christian we are to be strong to the end, least we be mocked and instill a condition of mockery in all unbelievers.
It's not about the physical bearing of a wooden cross, it's about bearing your responsibilities. It's about finishing what you start even when things get tough.

Yes you carried your own cross. However Christ had been so badly beaten that he could not go the whole way so someone else took up the cross when he could no longer carry it.

When Jesus collapsed, a bystander (Simon the Cyrene) was appointed to keep the ugly procession moving.

I don't know if they carried theirs also or not, everything I've read or seen about the crucifixion they were already there when Jesus arrived.
